I have never used a character with this ability, so I want to check some things regarding their use....

A.I. ENTITY POSSESSION: When Jocasta is KO'd or if you pay 25 points when building your force, equip this character to a friendly character if it has the Armor or Robot keyword and link it to that character's dial.

EFFECT: At the beginning of your turn or after this character is clicked, you may choose 1 power on the equipped dial and 1 combat value on the equipped dial higher than this character's same printed combat value. This character can use that power and modifies that combat value by +1 until your next turn or clicked.


1. The +1 bonus is not contingent on the using a power from the equipped dial?
Another words, if the character Jocasta is attached to has stats higher than her's, then the +1 cannot be used, but you can still give the equipped character the use of one of her powers.

2. What if the equipped with Jocasta has a deeper dial than her?
My thoughts here are what if Jocasta's dial reaches the ko slots, but the character she was equipped to is not koed. If later that character is healed, is Jocasta's dial also healed and thus potentially returning her as useful?

3. What about replaced character; specifically the Sentinel for DoFP?
I am pretty sure a equipped character like Jocasta is transferred when a character she was equipped to was replaced. I just want to make sure that holds true for the Sentinel as it switches from defense to attack mode?

1. That's correct, but don't forget about range. People never think about picking the range value.

2. If she's turned to a KO click, she KO's and is removed from the game.

3. She would go to the replacement character and match the same click number. You should know that she can't be equipped to the Alpha Class Sentinel since he's a Colossal. You can only equip her to standard characters.

3) what predator said+ If somehow you managed to replace a standard character with a non-standard character then Jocasta would still be linked. But you would not receive any of the bonuses or powers. I know you said specifically the sentinel but just in case anyone else gets some ideas or just wants to learn a thing or two.
