So Falcon and T-70 Aces pack. With new Falcon model and Poe's black X-wing. Awesome stuff so far. Rey as a pilot. Rey as a crew. Finn as a crew. Snap, Jess, and Nien Nunb in their X-wings.

I love the new title, giving the Falcon a Sloop. That will be fun. And key with Rey's ability. A bit disappointed that Poe is merely getting a PS bump, but at least we get other named pilots. And 2 more Integrated Astromechs. And a mod to give the Falcon the Illicit upgrade slot.

Can't wait.

Cool for those fans of the movie and those who just like more ship variants.

I'm just sticking with Rebellion era stuff so my wallet is happy that this is a pass.

With my resurgence of Heroclix and the new baby I lost interest in Star Wars for a bit. I'll need to play catch up with it after we move into a new house. So far I'm liking what I'm seeing as far as ships and upgrades, but I don't think the Falcon needed more to make it more viable.

but, seriously, making her an 8 skill captain is a bit much. She's good, but she's a kid and self-taught. She's not THAT good. That makes her equivalent to Luke's X-Wing skill level, when he had training flying things. She just ... jumped into the MF and became an expert?!?!!!?

Rey saying she was a pilot was almost like how Luke stated he was a pilot. In fact, Rey was a bit more humble about her piloting skills than Luke.

reality is that they should both be 5s or 6s if they're skilled/gifted amateurs with no formal training.

an "8" for an amateur is a joke. Poe deserves his skill rating. As does Vader. But not Luke and not Rey. A few hours flying something does not an expert make.

I love everything about this. I am totally okay with the pilot skills (personally believe there is more to Ray than she is letting on). Having a stronger option for Poe is also pretty nice. He's gonna be dangerous on the battlefield.

Black One is an incredibly subtle counter to a lot of stuff. FCS is going to have issues. Advances and Advanced Prototypes will also have some issues keeping their TL if Black One moves after them. And poor, poor Omega Leader...

It is fitting that Poe and BB 8 is the perfect Black One choice.
