Came up with this idea after some chit-chat discussion and reading through old threads, and now I (should) finally have time to run it. It's a normal vanilla mafia game, just... inverted. Here's how it works:
- The game thread will be open during the night phases and closed during the day.
- During night phases, each player will post their target in bold in the thread (similar to how they would normally cast a vote). They do not reveal their power. Ex: blah blah reason. target: colonialbob
- During day phases, players will PM votes to the mod. At the end of the phase, the player with the most votes will be lynched. Ties will be broken randomly. However, the lynched player must get at least a third of the remaining votes to be lynched.
- The mafia will choose one of their players to forgo their vote and make a kill during the day phase.
- At the end of night phases, the mod will post a list of all targets as submitted by the players. At the end of day phases, the only the number of votes on the lynched player will be revealed.
- Certain powers will act during the day phase, others act at night. For example, a day misdirector would misdirect his target's power, while a night misdirector would misdirect his target's vote.
I think that about sums it up, but feel free to ask questions either in this thread or via PM. Who's in? Looking for 13.
I'm willing to give it a go. You shall have my axe!
