As someone who's been playing since Infinity Challenge, this figure makes me really happy. He reminds me of the old days when I could run Kingpin or any other boss with huge teams of simple grunts. No complicated rulings. Just simple "Hey! It's Spida-man! Get'im!"

I do miss being able to fill my extra points with generic thugs. So does their ability mean that your team can have TTPC, but thugs just can't use it?

Either way, I'm in!

It's a good example of a vanilla no-powers dial--not every fig needs 7 different powers!

Seems like a good figure to pilot a vehicle when you want to keep theme team, but you don't want to spend a ton of points on your pilot. Sorry, Morlock, you're pretty much out...

Hmmm... The Thunderbolts wouldn't mind a bunch of 18 point, 4 click Mystics tie up / meat shields / mastermind fodder...

Having some thugs work for S.H.I.E.L.D would be pretty funny too. Actually, with the whole keywords-being-granted-simultaneously deal (see the comments on the Uncanny ATA) they'd be fun with G.W. Bridge in low point games... you could make a S.H.I.E.L.D. theme team with only one character actually having the keyword.

Hands down, the best design in the game since keywords came into existence.

KO'd an Anti-Reg CWSOP Spidey with Chuckles (my name for my sketch Thug) in his debut game. Groovy. Great figure that I need dozens of to put sculpts for other sort of civilians on (like generic labcoats and such). A couple of these bozos on an MoE team with the new Zemo and an empower or two can actually be quite deadly, or give them some Hydra/PD love. They also make terrific Mastermind fodder, coming in at a svelte 5 PPC (points per click). Run them on Hydra teams with Imperial Hydra for a chance at upgrading them into higher point Hydra goons. Gosh, I can't say enough about these guys.

Just had the thought of a few of these guys with Green Light could be pretty good to build around.

I can't say enough about this guy. He is amazing in sealed. He shouldn't be under estimated. Mine took out two figures and damaged three others for me tonight because he kept being overlooked. He is useful in so many ways, for example: mastermind fodder, mobile blocking terrain, team filler, tertiary attacker (with the right support).

I've been able to use Thugs as bait for Stilt-Man's Colossal Retaliation to devastating effect!

And a perfect makeshift Leatherboy for GLA teams :)
