A. You may spend your action purchasing an item. A list of available items is here. You may only have one item at a time. When you get a new item, you return the old one. Broken items will also be listed. Items are first come, first serve, in order of time stamp.
B. There are twenty written roles and fourteen actual players. Two roles are not from the netflix series 'Stranger Things.' The rest of the roles are from the series.
C. There are only six roles that were predetermined to be in the game. All remaining roles were randomly assigned to people, including six 'unassigned' slots. That means that six roles (some of which REALLY should be in the game) were not assigned to anyone. Furthermore, THREE of these six roles begin the game posted as 'known roles'.
D. Day phases will go for an exact 24 hours. The person with the highest vote total will be lynched. Vote counts will NOT be presented, even after a lynch. Votes from the Upsidedown will also be included.
E. New Power: Investigator. An investigator can cause roles to be posted on the role page. Some of those roles might be tied to who the person targeted, but most of the roles posted will be randomly drawn from the total roles in the game.
F. People in the Upsidedown are likely to die. Every phase that someone is stuck in the Upsidedown, they get a 33% chance to succumb to Throat Slugs. After gaining a Throat Slug, they lose their vote and die within another two phases (1 day and 1 night).
G. I honestly expect this game to be very difficult for the town and the mafia. I built it that way. It is possible that the mafia will need to assist the town to keep the Demogorgon from winning.
H. Mafia wins when the alive mafia members outnumber the alive town/neutral (even neutral survivors). I did not think about that until a few minutes ago, and I think it will work out just fine.
2) Some roles require an action. If you fail to send me a target, I might pick one randomly, if it is not in your best interest.
3) There is no resurrection mechanic.
4) Remember, it's just a game, and one where most people will die.
Don't make rash assumptions just because it is a gfishfunk game. Its always a good idea to re-read the sign up thread to see what was promised.
5) If you know that you are going to be away for a phase, feel free to leave your vote with someone even if the thread is not open. Just PM me, and I will post it in the thread when it opens.
6) gfishfunk's Order of Operations- or "solving paradoxes consistently"
Jailkeep > Guide > Busdrive > Roleblock > Misdirect > Push > Hide > timestamp > all other actions.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
This schematic only matters where a conflict would occur. Guide is listed nearly first to indicate that a guided action will pierce anything except jailkeep. Hence, it will pierce a busdrive or a push. Timestamp refers to whoever submitted their actions first.
Things get dicey when actions interact oddly, like if a busdriver targets themselves and another target (B <-> C), while a roleblocker (A) targets the the other player as well (C) and instead hits the busdriver (B). In this kind of case, I would say the busdrive happens first, and the action is done. The roleblock happens next, and is successful but does nothing.
Why use a timestamp? I would not use a time stamp if the paradox involves a busdrive versus a misdirect, but if two players misdirect each other, the first player to submit the action will hit first, and the second player will be misdirected.
7) Meta-gaming is as acceptable as other players believe it to be. They will likely lynch you or night kill you in a different game. Who am I to define the right or wrong way to play?
What is metagaming? Saying something like "so and so posted in another thread but not here, they must be avoiding the thread," or "gfishfunk usually plays differently, I bet he is a neutral or something."
Christmas Lights (Infinite): Allows you to see (during the night phase) everything said by anyone stuck in the Upsidedown who is at a location of your choice: the Byers House, the Wheeler House, Hawkins Middle School, or Murkwood.
Eggo Waffles (1/1): If Eleven is on her own, she will grab these. Nom Nom Nom. (No one is allowed to buy these....)
Hunting Knife (Infinite) Allows you to bloody another player. A bloodied player has a chance to drawn the Demogorgon.
Camera (0/1): Allows you to Reverse Track a player, even showing if something from the Upsidedown targeted them. (Not Available to the Mafia).
Heathkit Radio (1/1): Allows you to Mason with someone specific in the Upsidedown by character name (if you guess someone in the Upsidedown that is not there, I will mason you with someone else...)
Warrant (2/2): Allows you access into the Upsidedown, for you and for a mason.
Hunting Equipment (2/2): When you target another person, you make them a PGO for the night.
Hazmat Suit (1/3): Allows you to survive in the Upsidedown.
Eleven (Kid / Town) http://strangerthings.wikia.com/wiki/Eleven: Eleven, born Jane Ives, also known as El, is one of the main characters of the first season of Stranger Things. A young girl with many psychokinetic gifts, Eleven has a mysterious past and is believed by Mike Wheeler to be their best clue for finding Will Byers. Eleven is portrayed by Millie Bobby Brown.
...bad men...: You MUST hide, and chose a player to hide with during the day phase, which will affect the night phase as well. You can choose the same person multiple times. The first time your hiding buddy dies, you will be fine. The second time your hiding buddy dies, you will die in their place. When you die, the town will skip the next day phase. This makes you a Princess and a Hider.
Mouth Breather.: You are a vigilante. In addition to your action to hide each night, you may choose a person to nightkill. However, every time you use this power, you have a chance to send the person you hid with into the Upsidedown -- a 50% chance.
Goodbye, Mike. You cannot obtain any items for yourself. If you fail to hide with someone during the night phase, you will obtain for yourself Eggo Waffles. Delicious.

Dr. Brenner (Adult / Mafia) http://strangerthings.wikia.com/wiki/Martin_Brenner: Dr. Martin Brenner was involved in the controversial project code named MKUltra. Despite the failure of the project, he managed to kidnap Jane Ives, the child of Terry Ives, a volunteer of the program. He raised Jane under the name "Eleven." Eleven had developed powers because Brenner had experimented on her mother while she was pregnant with Eleven. Brenner taught her to use the powers she developed to spy on Russians. Brenner had her make contact with the Monster, which somehow opened a gate to the Upside Down in Hawkins Lab.
I want to save them. I want to save your son. But I can't do that. Not without your help. Portal to the Upsidedown x1: You may target a player and move them into the upsidedown.
Drug and Discredit: When you target a player one of the following will happen (whichever is most appropriate, but first in the order listed if multiple would be appropriate): you learn whether Eleven hid with the target, You give false information to the target if the target is using an information collecting power (unless the target is guided), you break the item held by the target, you misdirect the target.
Yes, yes it's your Papa.: if Eleven hides with you, your action for the night turns into an extra nightkill.
Secretive government program: the mafia only has one vote collectively, but it is a double vote. Along with submitting night actions, Dr. Brenner assigns the Double Vote to one mafia member. Cannot make a kill unless all other mafia members are dead.

Demogorgon (Thing / Neutral) http://strangerthings.wikia.com/wiki/Demogorgon: The Demogorgon was a powerful demonic monster featured in the roleplaying game Dungeons & Dragons, famous for being one of the toughest foes in the game. Mike Wheeler used it as an antagonist in one of the campaigns he ran for Will, Dustin and Lucas.
Like a Flea on a Wire: Each night, the Demogorgon will target a player. The action becomes:
1. an UnRBable Kill if the target is in the Upsidedown.
2. UnMDable Kill if the target has christmas lights.
3. If a character is Bloodied, you have a 25% chance to be drawn to that character for a kill.
4. Otherwise, draw the target into the Upsidedown.
It Hunts. Once during each day phase, you can PM the moderator (in hcrealms) to cut off access to one of the four sites in the Upsidedown, where you are hunting. This will lock the thread and prevent players from further posts.
Breaking Through. You are free to post in the main thread when it is open or in the Upsidedown at any time.
Regeneration; If you are lynched, you will simply lose your night action. If you are lynched by a majority vote in the Upsidedown, you will die. You cannot be killed by the mafia.
Demogorgon wins and all other factions lose if the Demogorgon kills 3 people through actions or through Throat Slugs.

Lucas Sinclair & Dustin Henderson (Kids / Town) http://strangerthings.wikia.com/wiki/Lucas_Sinclair & http://strangerthings.wikia.com/wiki/Dustin_Henderson: Lucas Sinclair, portrayed by Caleb McLaughlin and Dustin Henderson, portrayed by Gaten Matarazzo, are main characters on the Netflix original series Stranger Things. Lucas became best friends with Mike and Will in elementary school. In grade 4, Dustin arrived at their school and joined their friend group. Dustin met Lucas, Mike and Will when he arrived at their school in fourth grade, growing a strong bond with them and becoming best friends. The group would often play Dungeons & Dragons.
Would you shut up about Lando?! Each night, you either role block or misdirect your target. You must use each once before both become available again.
---
Lonnie Byers (Adult / Teen / Neutral) http://strangerthings.wikia.com/wiki/Lonnie_Byers: Lonnie Byers is the father of Will and Jonathan Byers. He was previously married to Joyce. When they got divorced, he did not make much effort to keep a healthy relationship with his sons. Joyce mentioned that "[Lonnie] used to say that [Will] was queer, called him a fag."
Hire an Attorney?: Each night, you can target another person to steal their vote. If successful, you steal one of their votes - even if they have more than one vote.
Win Condition: You are not a good father. You are hoping to make bank on the disappearance of your son. The less for them means the more for you. You win (and immediately leave the game) if Joyce Byers and Jonathan Byers have left the game AND if you have successfully been a part of a lynch that killed a member of the mafia.
Sleeping Together Since. . . You are a Double Voter.
Did you see the look on his face? - He probably had that same look whenever he killed his brother. When you target a Teen, you make them Bloodied for the night and you drag them into the write-up. Anyone else you target will reveal their age group: Kid, Adult, or...Thing.

Mike Wheeler (Kid / Town) http://strangerthings.wikia.com/wiki/Mike_Wheeler: Michael "Mike" Wheeler, portrayed by Finn Wolfhard, is a main character on the Netflix original series Stranger Things. He is the best friend to Will Byers, Lucas Sinclair and Dustin Henderson. He is the first of the group to be close to Eleven and the first to believe her. Mike is also the brother of Nancy. He is a middle school student and a member of the AV club.
Friends don't lie. As a night action, you can either chose a post to determine whether or not it is a lie, or you may guide another player. If you target a Kid, you will become masons.
And say 'over' when you're done talking so I know you're done. Over. You may obtain 1 item during day 1, prior to the end of the phase. Whenever you gain a different item, you must give your previous item to a different person rather than exchange it.

Steve Harrington (Teen / Town) http://strangerthings.wikia.com/wiki/Steve_Harrington: Steve Harrington is a student at Hawkins High School and Nancy Wheeler's boyfriend. While at first seemingly arrogant but charming, another more selfless side of his character is later revealed.
Chug! Chug! Chug! Chug! You are an item breaker and item retriever. When you target someone, if they have an item, you will break it. If they do not have an item, you will retrieve a broken item to use instead.
` I'm Stealthy, Like a Ninja. If you get bloodied, for some reason you do not draw the Demogorgon. I don't know why. Just watch the show and try to explain it.
"Boys! Time for bed!" Mike's mother yelled down the stairs. "No if, ands, or buts! Its way late on a school night."
The boys packed up for the night, and three set off for home on their bikes. Two raced off, leaving the third behind.
A shadow moved in the darkness.
gfisfunk has left the game! He was Will Byers (Kid / Town) http://strangerthings.wikia.com/wiki/Will_Byers: William "Will" Byers, portrayed by Noah Schnapp, is a main character on the Netflix original series Stranger Things. After he vanished without a trace, his friends made it their mission to rescue him.
Night 0 is over! Day 1 has begun (as of forty-five minutes from this timestamp). The highest number of votes will result in a lynch. You may vote 'no lynch'. A failure to vote will not default in a 'no lynch'.
Game officially starts up at 4:45 pm, however I am going to leave the game open for posts now.
Silver Lantern suggested that Rokk might want in on the game, so I gave him a role - if he decides against playing, I will modkill him. Because of the way lynches are reached, this should not be a huge deal.
Some things added to rules (if you read them already): you may only have one item at a time. Purchasing a new item returns your old item. Items are first come first serve, by time stamp....but please do not 'send in your action during the day phase' to get in front of the queue.
Mafia wins when their numbers are equal to that of the remaining town / neutrals.
