on the brightside, at least as one of the few fliers with his TA and the boosts in this set from characters with that TA he may be able to effectively carry somebody and maybe do something. I mean it's not much but at least it gets over his most obvious issue.
though I find it hard to think of a situation you would ever put him on a team over someone like firefly for taxi/RS reasons unless you're really hard up for points and desperately need a taxi...
or you're just like me and really like killer moth and will play him regardless of if he's good because goddammit i've waited 15 years and i'm going to damn well use him.
If WK were smart (which is debatable) they would take this sculpt and whack him on an OP kit dial that doesn't suck sometime next year, the fact that he's a rare only makes his weaknesses stick out more. what happened to "higher rarity figures will be more powerful"?
Anyone with Incapacitate and 1 target is a waste of points unless they can bring more to the table than this guy!. He's just bad for his points, two targets would have at least made him situationally playable...

@BigBlueBeast1982 I agree, if you are going to make a 65pt character with only Incap, then he at least needs to have two targets.Tthis piece feels like a last minute cop-out because thy wanted players to stop asking every Batman set, "Where is Killer Moth?"
This guy only has two things going for him: Flight ability, and being Killer Moth. He brings nostalgic feelings for me- nostalgia for the days that I would play a character I loved, despite the dial being a piece of ####.
I'm with the general consensus on this dial. Do the powers actually have some decent synergy? Actually, yes: his ES/D goes with RS and he swaps to CR when gaining Charge. The Sidestep adds to keeping him surprisingly mobile. The damage value doesn't matter much because you'll likely just keep using Incap.
That said, nothing really screams "Rare" about him other than trolling people a bit and after all Boneyard did, maybe a bit more was deserved here. (Between this and the iffy JSA dials maybe I should be happy McNider - whom I even ran a contest on here to try and boost WK's awareness of desire for the character - was excluded).

And rarity=/= power. He's Rare because he's an obscure character and you don't need to pull multiples of this niche support piece.
I think people are more frustrated that they've been waiting years for Killer Moth, and got this. He has been #1 on many people's short lists, and to finally get him and have him be this mediocre... Try not to begrudge people for being disappointed.
