Jonna and I were listening this morning on the way to Tom's house and both had a seriously puzzled look on our faces with the way you pronounced Monsieur...
Still have about 15 minutes left to listen to, but fun episode so far.

What were the details of the Zombie game. I'm trying to get our judge to play more scenerio games to change it up. So I've been coming up with scenerios to present him.
300 pt Golden Age (on map characters only, no Colossals)
It's the anual Game Knight Zombie Game! Bring 300 points worth of food, I mean a team and try to outlast the other players against a horde of zombies and other undead super heroes. Hypersonic Speed is full movement Charge for this event. Darkness is in play meaning all ranges max out at six. Characters only (no Feats, relics, resources, ATAs, etc) and they must be on the map. Characters that start on the map and have the ability on their dial/card to bring in other characters (Fitz, Alyosha, etc) may do so. Characters may not Posesses or be "equiped".
Survivers on the map facing the undead horde are deemed "Allies." Allies are nither Friendly nor Opposing to the other players on the map. They may move around each other normally without having to contend with adjacency or breakaway. Allies may not target other allies with attacks (Pulse Wave not withstanding) nor Support. Defend will only affect characters friendly to the team's controlling player.
Horrorclix zombies will be imune to Pychic Blast and Mind control. These powers will affect the Marvel Zombies and Black Lanterns normally. Additionally Horrorclix may not be targeted by Probibility Control as granted by Theme Teams.
When a character is KO'd by a member of the horde they will become friendly to the horde on their third click from KO. KOing these zombified characters will score 30 points.
I own at least one each of all of the Horrorclix zombies. On their own they are not very formidable. When there are a slew of them on one map, however, they can get scary (as a zombie horde should be). The Horrorclix play pretty close to Heroclix with a few exceptions. Horrorclix do not push. There was no mechanic for it in that game. Colors on the dials need to be referred to on the power on the card. Horrorclix referred to game pieces as "monsters." We simply translate that to "character." And the horde should always be greater in number than the survivors. No one "wins" the zombie apocalypse after all ;-) . The winning player is the one that scores the most zombie KOs.

Sounds awesome! But who controls the zombies and is it just as many zombies as you feel like throwing out there?

Yeah, I tripped over that while recording and couldn't fix it in post. My mouth doesn't always cooperate with my brain.

The judges control the Zombies. We had one judge for every five players, which kept the game moving along fairly well. We probably had around 70 Zombies per table, which sounds like a lot. But that's only about 14 per opponent. So it wasn't that bad.
