I don't know if your event allowed ATAs but she could have used Guardians of the Galaxy ATA
Keywords: Guardians of the Galaxy
Powers possessed by characters using this team ability can't be countered. This team ability can't be used by wild cards. Also keep in mind that with Hadron Enforcer that choosing the square of terrain is the free action. To use pulse wave you still need to give the figure a range action. HADRON ENFORCER:#Once per game, give Star-Lord a free action and choose an unoccupied square of clear terrain within range and line of fire. When you do, Star-Lord can use Pulse Wave this turn as if he occupied that square

I only had two points open in my build. I used the Silver Age ATA to make her a wildcard so that she could copy Mystics off of Hellcat.
And I'm not sure if Dawn played the Hadron Enforcer perfectly according to the rules, but I'm sure she took a token for it. We aren't too worried about the minutia of things, especially when it comes to new players.
Hey guys--thanks as always for the episode. Tyler--great job co-piloting without James there.
I like the unpainted figs idea. I think they would be on the whole cooler than the sketches tend to look. They might have to re-work their rulings on customs, though, since right now if you take a fig with a custom skulpt to a tourney, your opponent can insist on you using an unmodified version.
Question: You talked about a new player at your venue. Other than being friendly, explaining the rules and all that jazz, do you guys do anything in particular to welcome new players? I know several venues have various takes on the "fellowship prize" to encourage newer players, but I have yet to find a version of the "fellowship prize" that isn't open to manipulation.
