Hey everyone! One of my friends (who knows the rules pretty well) said that you can use the Batman TA to replace AVs even if they are the same in order to activate the "This Is How I Deal With The Bat" trait. I just want to make sure this is accurate.
So, for example, could Penguin share his 10 with Killer Croc, who is also a 10, so that one of his Penguins gets to move as a free action? It seems a little silly that you can replace with the exact same value.
Sure. Nothing says that the Attack Value needs to be higher.

THIS IS HOW I DEAL WITH THE BAT: Once per turn for all characters with this trait, if a character uses the Batman Enemy team ability to replace their attack value with The Penguin's, after the action resolves, you may give a Robo-Penguin a move action as a free action.
Batman Enemy TA:
Quote
Characters using the Batman Enemy team ability may replace their attack value with the unmodified attack value of an adjacent friendly character using the Batman Enemy team ability.
Thanks guys. It makes sense, but it just seems so silly.
There are a number of things which seem silly because there was no point to them before, but Traits or Special Powers suddenly make them worth considering. They were always legal, they were just pointless.
Another example: Normally, when a character with Impervious is attacked with penetrating damage we don't bother to roll the d6. Then along came White Lantern Superman.

Actually, there was always a point to rolling the d6. You are only allowed so many 6's in life. And forcing your opponent roll, you drain that 6 from their luck pool.
(jk, I never forced my opponent to roll the d6. But I know people who do.)
