Ive read every message in that forum and im still confused. These atas are not on the official wizkids website but some have said they were handed out during conventions. So my question is are they real and if their tournament legal in modern age?

you might want to check out the UNits section. there is an ATA section, and all of these are there.. they are official and legal.

Yes those are official. The ATA pdf on the WizKids site is very outdated.

you know, it's pretty disheartening how much of this game seems to be convention exclusive. I had bought a fast forces pack and a couple of boosters when I started, and didn't even have a rule book or a map. Now I find out that the print and play section of their website is abandoned. Is heroclix on the way out? it's not a very accessible game.

I've felt the same. Upon trying to send a character in for replacement(broken and missing character card) I found that they will not replace chase level rarities, and they recommend I download a character card from their print'n'play section. But they don't have the card for that figure because it's from a new set. So I'm stuck with a broke uncarded chase from a brick.

There are people out there who might be able to help

Yeah I'm waiting. The chances that someone gets double cards on a chase though are pretty slim right? I mean wizkids can't fix a mistake with a mistake can they?

It's funny, when I first discovered print and play, I thought, " wow, this is so nice, I'm really surprised they do this".
When I found out it was abandoned, I thought, "What a bunch of A$#@!, how could they do this to me! "
It's funny how fast your perspective can change. Still, there's a bucket of cheap/used heroclix at my FLGS, and I'd love to know I can get cards for the ones that don't have them. they're like sad little puppies looking for a home.
