Just wondering whether anyone has heard anything about a set for the upcoming Justice League movie in November?

id on't think we've heard of any sets past June or July except a couple of OP kits...

No. I would not buy it, since DC has ruined their characters through the movies, with the casting and costumes. It is not what I grew up with.

A Justice League movie probably wouldn't be a bad idea. A more accurate Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman Trinity, with new JLers all around. Plus, new Apokalypse pieces and even a new Steppenwolf. Maybe a Doomsday too, if we were lucky, from Batman v Superman, since we missed out on him the first time.

If they could squeeze exciting clix out of the Civil War Movie Set, which was almost entirely remakes, I bet we could get some good DC guys out of a Justice League one, especially since the BvS set wasn't all that incredible.

Their casting is phenomenal, and the costums are just fine (except for Power Rangers Flash). It's the writers and directors where the problem is at.

Yeah, I'd say there's a better-than-average chance the movie will be a disappointment, but there's no reason I can't enjoy clix versions of these movie characters.

This potential set is the thing I'm most excited for heroclix wise in 2017. I hope hey keep with the pattern and release a fast forces with the heroes as well.

And if anyone is still lamenting the lack of a doomsday from the BVS set, I've found that MOS016 General Zod with an AV033 Abomination sculpt (sans tail) works for me.

They could fill out the set with characters carried over from the Wonder Woman movie, kind of like the first Avengers movie set included characters from the first Capt America and Thor movies.

i'm surprised this is getting as much traction as it is, considering bvs got so many votes as the worst set of 2016

who do we really need clix versions of from this set? superman? batman? wonder woman? cyborg? barry allen? aquaman? this set is already well and truly clixed

Thank goodness the set is going to have more than six pieces in it, or I'd agree with you.

I mean, the Civil War Movie set was packed to the brim with remakes, but that doesn't mean that it gave us bad figures, quite the opposite. The Captain America from that set is probably the best in the game, to me, as far as high-point Caps go, and the Crossbones from that set is also probably one of the better ones we've ever gotten. If they want to give us a really really playable Justice League lineup, not just the Trinity, in one set, along with some good Darkseid related crew people, I'd say bring it on.

Of course it'll probably be another 150 point Supes, a 100 point WW, and a 80 point Batman, and then The Flash, Cyborg, and Aquaman will be a different lineup that's impossible to teambuild with too.

I'm wholly uninterested in this set idea, with one exception. I'd take any Batfleck clix. You're daft if you think he wasn't, at least, the one redeeming thing about BvS.

He kind of lost me when he started shooting people to pieces and stabbing people with knives. It may be a matter of taste, but I prefer it when Batman doesn't have a higher bodycount than the actual bad guys he's fighting do.

I really think that movies are the time to make starters. If I was not a player, and I liked one of these movies, I might impulse buy a starter and get into the game from there.

I speak from experience, because that's how I got my start with MoS.

For me, it's just another iteration. I don't like my comic Batman or Superman to kill, but I don't consider movie Batman and Superman to be comic Batman and Superman. It's like another universe to me.

I loved when people were pissed about Superman killing Zod in Man of Steel.

He killed Zod in Superman II! In a much more gruesome way than snapping his neck.
