So, it may just be me talking to myself in here, but I want to share my excitement for the series somewhere!
Watching last week's episode (I buy the seasons on my X-Box) and it starts out with Splinter fighting drunken master style and then follows up by introducing a bad ass Alopex.
Seriously: best version of the Turtles (outside the comics).

I loved this episode! My wife was even sort of watching it, and when the "Empire Strikes Back" moment happened, even she was shocked.
Alopex was VERY cool, and I'd love to see a mean HSS version of her in a later set, along with a Tiger Claw that she has some kind of trait against.
I about died laughing when Splinter did the drunken fighting style. Although, I think Mikey would have done better with his unpredictable nature... but that's me.
Contrary to popular belief, I do know what I'm doing
You know, I had a feeling something was up... but man that ending STILL had me open jawed!
I did love the garbage truck nod at the end... half expected a nod to the original comic do, someone casually drops a thermite grenade into the back end...

There's still one episode to go,

they've walked away and he's going to escape. That tactic didn't work so well in the movie to get rid of him either...

Did you see his hand burst out of the truck? I mean I understand they literally won't throw the grenade in the truck. But from the title of next week's episode (I don't want to read actual spoilers from Korea) I presume they're going to give Splinter a funeral in Japan. There's a chance they could blow Shredder up there

Yeah, I had the same thought. I think they've just kind of gone old school with getting super adult references in that the censors don't realize or that they think will fly right over kids' heads.
Ren and Stimpy used to do that stuff all the time.

So, finally broke down and bought the "final season" and spent the last few days escaping reality into TMNT world.
It's amazing and I wish it wasn't going away. Breaking into adapting old one off toys (Hot Head becomes the Hamill demon) into an interesting story. Tying up plot threads.
And just watched the Usagi three parter in the last day. It is beautiful.
I have the episode from Sunday saved, because I need to savor these last few episodes.

Yeah I'm holding off on watching these last Tales of the TMNT because I don't want this series to end. I'm psyched to see what they do with turtles next, and there were some wildly uneven aspects of this series (a lot of missed opportunities, mostly; filler when it should have been killer, etc) but dang it when it was killer it was KILLER! I'm gonna miss it.
Speaking of things I don't want to believe are over, are we feeling pretty sure there are no further TMNT Clix down the road? I don't wanna do what I did with the space turtles and buy them in action figure form on the assumption they'll never see Clix, only to be proven wrong, but I gotta have plastic representation of these universal-monster turts that are coming down the pike.

Not at all.
Wizkids hasn't been announcing sets out as soon as they used to and we just got the solicit for X-Men First Class (to release in February), so we could still be looking at an April/May release for the next Turtles set.
Until we get to the middle of next year with no mention of new Turtles clix, I wouldn't count it out. And even then...
The license is time based, so, I would be very surprised if they only got a two year license.
Time will tell.
Sidebar: the ending of the NickTurtles might actually be what is holding up new clix. Nickelodeon might want the clix to line up with the animation.
