Two questions: 1) lets say Doc Samson picked up the Mutagen ooze. Since its a light object , he'd have to have Super Strength showing to equip it right?
2) Could PSYCHOANALYZATION be used to hit an adjacent friendly fig and trigger the Ooze? (thus giving Doc a standard power from the MC'd friendly)?

1: No. It's counted as a light object, but it's not required to pick it up to equip it.

"Give a friendly character in this square or holding this object a power action to equip it. Opposing characters can KO this object only by using it in an object attack."

2: No. You can Mind Control your own figure, but they're not an opposing character for that action.

Mutagen Ooze - "Once per game, when an opposing character hits the equipped character with a close attack, after actions resolve, you may choose a standard power the attacking character can use. The equipped character can use that power as long as this is equipped."
