If I KO the opposing character while using the Orphan Swarm power, would I be able to place the bystander adjacent to where the character was?

I'm fairly certain you wouldn't be able to place the Bee Swarm. When the trigger goes to resolve, there's no character to place it adjacent to, so it can't be placed.

No, if they get KO'd during the attack then after actions resolve there won't be a character there to place a bee adjacent to. Orphan Swarms places a bee adjacent to the hit character after actions resolve but you're trying to interpret that to mean place a bee adjacent to the square the hit character occupies. Look at it like this, if you did knockback to the hit character instead of KOing them would you place a bee adjacent to the character in the new space they occupy or would you place the bee next to the now empty square that they formerly occupied?

That's how I ruled it, but I told my guys I'd ask about it before this weeks sealed. I asked on the WIN, but for now, this works. Thanks!
