I have been proxying this figure playing some matches with it. I was going to film one of these matches but wanted to find out how everyone thought his trait would interact with shifting focus.

The Ultimate Survivor: When attacked, modify Doomsday's defense by +1 for each Adapted token on the attacker. When Doomsday is hit by an attack, you may place Doomsday in an adjacent square that is closer to the attacker.

My question is if a shifting focus character hits Doomsday would an adapted token go on every shifting focus character that is can change into or just the particular one that hit him. I think that could make a huge difference in how this beast is handled. I appreciate any help with this one.

The tokens are only placed on the character that attacked Doomsday.

When Shifting Focus is used to replace a character any Adapted tokens on that character will transfer to the new character.

Yep. As stated.

Tokens transfer to replacements so while you will not be placing tokens on the cards of the versions waiting on the sideline, you will transfer whatever is on the active character's card to the replacement's card when they take the field.
