hello all. Didn't see this past anywhere and since this set came out today I like a clarification.

TELEPORTATION: Give Raven a power action and choose an adjacent friendly character with the Mystical keyword up to two adjacent friendly characters with the Teen Titans keyword. Place Raven in a square within 6 squares and line of fire and place the chosen characters adjacent to her.
So placed means the friendlies placed can be given non-free actions, correct?
Other than being placed outside of 5 squares from the summoning figure, could Raven Teleport a character called in by an ID card?

Call in Help - At the beginning of your turn, you may activate one ID Card per force. To activate an ID Card, choose a friendly character that has no action tokens and is equal to or more points than the ID Character's starting line. Give the chosen character a power action, place the ID Character adjacent to it, and then remove this ID Card from the game and your opponent scores it. The ID Character can't be carried, given double power actions, replaced, or assigned resources. The ID Character returns to your sideline immediately: (a) at the beginning of your next turn, (b) if it's not within 5 squares of the chosen character, or (c) if it is removed from the map by another game effect.
The teleportation power isn't removing the called in fig from the map according to Raven's wording. Though, Yes you could place the called in fig 6 squares away from where it was called in to escape

I thought that placing, in general, removes a character from the map, before placing it in the desired location?

That is an attribute of Carry, not an attribute of placing.
Also, even with Carry the placed character isn't removed from the map. It is just considered not to be on any particular square during the movement of the Carrying character.
