Got a new exciting double commission, from our good Realms friend Cliffjumper... the maps of Eternia.

First off we have the power source of He-man, home of the Sorceress, and the greatest desire of Skeletor...

First progress

just some comments

1) Castle Greyskull is completely enclosed in the cartoon/comic mythology, so I would have it elevated instead of an interior.

2) you could have the bridge leading up to the entrance be the 2nd elevation, with the top of the castle being 3/4 elevations


overall, I like the look of it. the colors jump out at you, and the skull on the front I visable without taking over. very well done

I admit this was not the configuration I'd have gone with, but this is Cliffjumper's very specific (and quite thought out ) layout.

This is just in progress remember. There will be rooms on the inside of the castle. I just haven't got to them yet.

Cliffjumper deserves full credit on the colours... I had the ground as solid purple till tonight, when I added the orange as per his instructions. It does look more cartoony (I hope in a good way)

This is looking sweet! A big MoTU fan - and this map seriously excites me!

We're trying something a little different with the land. See how it goes. I'm still sorting out the lighting.

How many levels do you think? Is the pit going to have special rules?

Personally Im a fan of the Purple sand... it seems a perfect fit for ol' purple Skeletor and Hordak's hordes to attack from!
... well... upon looking again - I like the dark green stone too. I think Im going to pretty much like it all however it turns out!

Here is the almost base design (it is the early version... so a few less hindering overall). As for the specific special rules I'm not sure, I'll let Cliffjumper determine them.
