Powers for reference:

mind control: Give this character a close or ranged combat action (minimum range value 4) that deals no damage. A successfully hit target becomes friendly to your force. Each target hit may be assigned one action as a free action, immediately after which the target becomes an opposing character again. Deal this character 1 unavoidable damage if the successfully hit targets’ combined point value is 150 points or more.



piloting: an adjacent friendly character can be given a power action to become the vehicles one pilot and be placed on this card. Pilots can't posses (there are a lot of symbols here) symbols and can't be bystanders a pilot is only a pilot as long as that character is on this card. Vehicles without a pilot can't be given actions. Give the vehicle a power action to place the pilot into an adjacent square. Pilot abilities are traits that are only active when the pilot meets the prerequisites.


...THAT CAN RETURN TO ITS ORIGINAL SIZE: When an adjacent friendly character attacks an opposing character, the attacker may modify its attack value by -1. If they do and hit, replace Pym Pocket Tank with WizKids MP17-006a Pym Particle Tank on its orange starting line with one of its squares adjacent to the target. If the attacking character is named Ant-Man, Giant-Man or Hank Pym, use the yellow starting line instead. When replacing this character, you may ignore characters and blocking terrain when placing it, then destroy any in squares it's placed into. Any characters in squares it would be placed into are placed adjacent to it and dealt 2 penetrating damage.







So here is my question, say I was to use mind control while attacking with the pocket tank and hit, I now place the particle tank and resolve it's stuff then give my temporarily friendly target an action for free. If I choose to give my target an action to pilot the tank what happens after the actions resolve?

From what I can figure my target returns to my opponents force, but is stuck piloting my tank and allowing me to now give my tank actions until I release the pilot or the tank blows up. Does this work how I think it does?


Second question. Say the particle tank has a pilot and is adjacent to 4 opposing characters on one of it's long sides or 2 on it's front or back while being on it's second to last click. Is it possible to hit all 4 or 2 characters with a single use of the ram ability? Or do I have to pick one square to move through?

[C] While a character is a pilot, if that character is no longer friendly to the vehicle or the character somehow gains a combat symbol that is restricted from being a pilot, that character is immediately ejected from the vehicle and placed in an adjacent square.

Aw well damn, I figured this was probably going to be the case but it would have been super fun if it wasn't.

Fun thought, though. If only Capture was still a thing.

Neat idea. As soon as the rule changes happen then doing anything other than attacking and moving with the figure will be illegal. August will be here quickly. Sneaky is always trying to be sneaky. Lol

You could actually do this for a very short time before they tightened up the rules when vehicles were introduced. Those were fun times. For like what 2 weeks?

That's kind of how I felt this would be. Here is this ridiculous strat that's really strong but it's only good for 2 months so no one cares
