Giant Characters
• A friendly giant character can be moved with Telekinesis. An opposing giant character cannot.
The only restriction on TK-ing a friendly character is the size of its base: duo-base or larger figures cannot be TK-ed. Giants and Duo figures may be TK-ed.
This thread is from 2008, tho. Is this still accurate? I can't find anything that says you can TK a Giant just because it's friendly. Any idea what the new rules are going to say about this?
Give this character a power action and designate a target character or object (A) and a destination square (B). This character, A, and B must all be within 8 squares and line of fire of each other. Place A in B. If A is a character, it must be a single base character and possess the HeroClix Tiny Damage Symbol or HeroClix Standard Damage Symbol symbol. If A is an opposing character, make a close or ranged combat attack that deals no damage against A, and only place the character in B if the target is hit. If A is an object and B is occupied by an opposing character, this character may make a ranged combat attack targeting the character occupying B, dealing object damage and destroying the object. A character that has been placed by Telekinesis this turn can’t use Telekinesis this turn.
The loophole is really the attack symbol. You can TK as single based character with the duo attack ability and a standard damage symbol. I used to do it with the Superman & Wonder Woman duo.
I think you should be able to TK characters your size and smaller. If my giant can use TK, he should be able to TK other giants.
You would need Giant Size TK for that. Despite being a Giant it sounds like your Giant just has Standard TK.
"A Jester unemployed is nobody's fool." - The Court Jester "And so he says, I don't like the cut of your jib, and I go, I says it's the only jib I got, baby!
I only see 1 giant sized and 0 colossal modern age characters that can use TK. Given the proposed 'TK someone same size or smaller', only Devil Dinosaur, a larger character assigned Supreme Intelligence, or a TK'er who is Mxy'ed larger, would be able to TK larger than standard. Not too much room for abuse, other than maybe SI, unless I am missing other options.
I disagree. I think TK shouldn't be affected by size. Point cost, maybe, if a limitation is wanted.
Mind over matter, after all.
Imagine if all standard characters could only TK tiny size characters. Many special powers could cover it, but as a standard I think it makes sense. If magneto becomes a giant for some reason he should be able to TK a giant.
