I am looking for a new modern team to play in Argentina ROC 2017. But here, we play a very limited format ... We can't use resources, ID cards, entities. We can only use single or dual base characters.

My team until last rotation were:

Avengers Themed
AVAS 051 - Red Wolf
WM15-011- Dr Strange+ATA Midnight Sons
AVAS 037 - Manifold

So, I really need a 300pts modern team for this limited format... With marvel characters preference (but no exclusive).

Could you help me with this?

I think the below team could work... what you say?

ADW 053 - Iron Man
ADW 054 - Captain America
WF 043 - Mercury
JW 002 - Harley Quinn
CWSOP 105 - Night Nurse
FFNFAOS 099 - H.E.N.R.Y.

There are a couple routes you can take for a limited format. It really depends on what pieces you have access to. For marvel I personally like the sinister syndicate theme team that's been pretty popular lately. Shifting focus Deadpool can do stuff, but is weakened by lack of outside help. Obviously goblin king reigns supreme, since he needs little to no outside help.

If I were going to play an RoC limited 300 modern with literally nothing on sideboard, I'd probably take:
Goblin King 175
Dr. Strange, Earths Guardian 80 OR Nico Minoru 75
Pym pocket tank 8
Green Lantern 35

You're at 293 or 298 respectively. At 293 you can add the symbiote (6) to make nico a little more supporty/durable on turns she can't pick defensive powers.

I like sinister syndicate team idea, but how would you build it?
In other hand I am trying to build a team around ADW Super Rare Iron Man... Do you think that it's a playable mini? Is possible to build a team for him?

The best route to take with sinister syndicate in my opinion is:
Doc Oc LE 80
Doc Oc LE 80
Kingpin FF 50
Mysterio LE 50
Overdrive 35
Spider-Man ID 5 (for 75pt cosmic spider-man)
Total 300 on the nose.

For the SR Iron Man, he's cursed by his own pick a power. At 165 he cannot take Running Shot Pulse Wave/PsyBlast. At his lower point value he is very vulnerable to being one shot with his low number of clix. I think it's possible to build around him, but at the same time he functions kind of clunky

If you can only use single and peanut base characters, the Pocket Tank is no good because you won't be able to replace it with the Particle Tank, which is larger.

Well, after the errata update i think goblin king is not the best option anymore... Jakeem Thunder will go back to the top and Iron Man will be (maybe) a good option thanks to Indomito... I am thinking now in a team with Iron Man, Nico Minoru, Domino and Mercury (and Thug xD)... Or Iron Man, Dr Strange title character, domino and mercury... Or Iron Man, Dr Strange, Night Nurse, Mercury and Thug... Same teams for Jakeem Thunder adding Green Lanthern sr from JW... We have a lot of teams without a supercharged Goblin King... What do you think?

Yes, you are right. Pym pocket tank out of the teams!

Night Nurse is a great addition to a DS:EG team for those turns when he uses Title Powers and cannot make an attack, although having another Probability Control on the 25-pt Domino is awesome-sauce!?!

If you have your heart set on trying to make ADW SR IM work and want to include DS:EG, I would try something like this:

IM can use Charge/Flurry after getting a DAM bump from DS:EG. Nico/Gobo can use Perplex/TK to give IM a 13-square swing with an 11-AV for 5-DAM, a 14-square swing with an 11-AV for 4-DAM, or a 13-square swing with a 12-AV for 4-DAM, with DS:EG flying forward to provide PC support. If you used Nico, instead of Perplex he can select PC or Outwit and be carried forward by DS:EG after TK-ing IM.

Even with the changes to Gobo King, I still think he has good utility @ 75-pts. I would like to run:

140 Jakeem Thunder
75 Goblin King
80 Venompool
= 295

Regarding Goblin King ($60), it's too expensive compared to Nico Minoru ($6) xD and i have the same possibilities

In addition, Nico can use willpower... I think she's more useful...
