I'm thinking of playing goblin king at max points with eclipso attached to him to make a beefy version of engineer basically. Another team idea i had was goblin king ameriadroid and shield id card for nick.
If any one has tips on one man armies i would be glad to hear them.

If you are adamant about going OMA go with Eclipso or something else they cant easily get points off of. OMAs are tough because of the limit of actions and the possibility to get shut down quickly.
Pick your spots. Do not engage unless you know you have a kill and avoid their strategy the best you can. You will only need to kill a single pointed piece to win if you go with Goblin King and Eclipso so keep away is going to be your best strategy.
I actually like Brainiac on GK. I know he's not as many clicks as Eclipso, but let's be honest, if you get knocked down to your last few clicks, you're in trouble anyway. However, with Brainiac you can give GK the power that lets him remove action tokens when opposing characters are given power actions. Nice to keep him going every turn.
OMA's are risky, any piece w/ incap could ruin your day or if they pick that power. I feel like if you want to run a OMA, you want a little bit lower of a point value then 275.
I'd be looking at maybe the new superman or another piece around 200-225 ish, the reason being is you need to support your OMA as best you can. If your primary attack gets out action or locked up it's down hill daisies.
