(Special) Green Lantern's Light: Once per turn, Green Lantern can use Barrier. He can use it as a free action, but only to place 1 Barrier marker. When he uses Barrier, he may substitute one Barrier marker that he would place with the Light Wall Marker and place it in a character's square within range, positioning one side along an edge; this marker acts as a wall. If you place the Light Wall Marker, it is removed at the beginning of your next turn. UNIQUE MODIFIER - Opposing characters adjacent to any of his Light Wall or Barrier markers can't use Stealth and modify their defense values by -1.


2 part question:

1) can the wall marker be destroyed?

2) would hindering terrain be placed if it can?


I want to ask on Wizkids site, but it won't let me log in for some reason.

1. Yes it can be destroyed like any regular wall or barrier piece.

2. No. When a barrier marker is destroyed, it's removed from the map.

Thats right, barrier markers are not real terrain. When they are destroyed they leave no rubble.

For #2, what is your reasoning? (Not disagreeing, just wanting to put the pieces together).

I honestly didn't remeber that. Makes sense.

From the rules page:

Barrier
[C]Blocking terrain markers can be destroyed as per the rules for destroying blocking terrain. They would be replaced with debris markers when destroyed. The debris markers are removed from the map the same time that the normal blocking terrain markers are removed from the map.

Well now I'm confused.

Don't be. alexiiswireless quoted the rules. Everyone else is wrong.

So then there would in fact be debris tokens placed?

That PG is not a valid source for rulings. The quoted clarification is on the WIN, but many of the things in that PG are outdated and no longer correct. Best not to use outdated sources, even if it does happen to be correct on some things.

Yes, the normal rules for destroying walls/blocking terrain apply. And just as the clarification says, those debris markers are removed when the wall/blocking terrain wold normally be removed.
