So, I'm playing a 300 point game today at work with some of my buddies and I want to play the 300 point dial of Galactus. Never played him before or ANY colossal figure before today.

For his 300 point dial all he has available to him is...

"THE NECESSARY "EVIL" OF THIS UNIVERSE: Galactus can use the Mystics team ability and can't be targeted by Exploit Weakness and Mind Control.

Correct?

So, any tips/advise/suggestions on how to play him? Think there will be 3 or 4 of us playing and I'm pretty sure they'll all tag team me

Yes; correct.

I don't have one (I managed to get Ziran, Dormammu, and Uatu from that set), but just looking at the stats, here are my thoughts.

1) Let your enemies come to you. They may outnumber you, but your stats dwarf theirs. Especially in this day and age of increasingly shorter range values, you're highly unlikely to face anyone who can outrange Galactus, so there will be plenty of approaching characters you can pick off at your leisure. You'll likely be able to find a nice pleasant spot on the map and stay there, blasting away at wave after wave of enemy.

2) Target multiple enemies when you can. You may be tempted to one-shot all comers, but you may be a bit better off spreading that damage around and weakening larger swaths of enemies as they come.

3) Trust that added team ability. Mystics means that most players are going to be hesitant to attack, or they'll try to find ways around it like Pulse Wave, which requires proximity.

Don't, you're right he'll get swarmed in 300 points and go down pretty fast especially with no multi-attack there are far better colossi now at that point value. The Superman Batman Robot is especially good

Well, Galactus is really the only 300 pt colossal fig I have (other than a few sentinels and Trigon) so, he'll have to do.

Oh, well in that case play him he's a lot of fun hopefully you can catch people off guard with that Energy Explosion

Well, he hardly got anyone's attention. My buddy played Zombie Galactus @ 200 pts with Jinku. The other 3 players went after him. Two players each sent in 1 clix of theirs to deal with my Galactus. Ghost Rider from AMS and Doc Samson from IH. I dispatched them pretty quickly, only taking damage from GR's Mystics and 1 damage from pushing (yea, didn't need to).

We couldn't finish the game since we only have an hour to play but it was fun.

I would have won in the end (I think) since my friends ZG was on his 2nd or 3rd to last clix.

You got lucky, I would've run ZG with two Mole Men
