Wow, yeah this thing is just ridiculous! You're paying a kind of hefty 60 points for a mostly random support power & only 16 defense, but it's that versatility which makes him very usable. You just get the power you want, and then take a chance at how much health he has afterward. You could go kind of super ridiculous and give him some kind of damage reducer, like the Colossus fragment of the Phoenix Force.

It's not really random. At least not during your turn.

Let's not forget, if your opponent doesn't KO him and he's on a high click number, you can change his click to anything, then roll to try to "heal" him back up at the end of the turn after phasing away from any close combat

Amused that the projection takes limited damage from ranged attacks but you can go up and punch it no problem.

He should have ruler keyword

I understand from a game design perspective why this is, but it's still bemusing to me that the holographic projection Grandmaster is Unique while the actual being himself can be played in multiples.
