So, if she is on the corner of elevated, has the ock arms and is adjacent to a Thor call-in, she would have 5 bolts (assuming the inspiration stacks with the ock arms). This would let her target a total of 45 opposing figures. That's going to be a very long turn.

@DontPanic The Doc Ock Arms makes her have 3 targets, her MC power makes her have 3 targets as well. With the Thor inspiration she could have 4 targets not 5.

The drones are very lack luster, no good stats and take a power action to get out. Can't even really swarm with them due to no indom on her. She's primarily just one big massive MC piece. Running shot triple target MC, that her move. I suppose if you can get a few drones out over the course of a long game, if you land on click 6 it can be a really problem for your opponent. They would make good mastermind fodder.

She's more playable than the old Unleashed Queen Bee, and has mostly all the needed keywords (I guess we're just pretending the WWIII Injustice Gang in Clix was part of the Society, but whatever). That's all I really ask from a new Queen Bee. A shame she doesn't have any new HIVE generics to rule over, but I'm sure "Asylum Doctor" and the third generic Mercenary were much more necessary additions to this set.

Luckily, she has TWO new HIVE generics in this set.

Its nice to see that Queen and her fellows HIVEs dont sum up to 300 points. The further you can go is to 290. Nice maths again wizkids.

Kuerv0 you can play Queen Bee, 1 HIVE commander, and 10 Troopers for exactly 300. You can also play 1 Queen, 4 commanders, and 2 troopers for 300. I'm sure there are more combos to get to 300, but there's 2 for ya

No Injustice Gang keyword. She was on the incarnation that included Lex Luthor, The General, and Prometheus from JLA. Guess we'll have to wait another 10+ years for another with the proper keywords.

HIVE commander has leadership. That's about the only way you'll see many Bee-drones. But man, that is one heck of a spread on mind control. She could relocate an opponents whole team, move the support guys up front, move stealth guys out of hindering if they're next to a hittable target. Pretty cool, and I'm glad she's on the SSOSV. That makes one heck of a mind control team, with Poison Ivy, Crazy Quilt, Dr. Psycho, and Signalman.

I ran pretty much the exact team mentioned below (Psn Ivy, Signal Man, Dr. Psycho, and the Queen) but added in FL208 Rag Doll and it was a ton of fun. Queen Bee popped out Drones for carrying and MM fodder. When the time was right, she pushed up and MC’ed the entire opposing team (5 figures) at once. Most fun I’ve had with Mind Control in some time.

Any decent judge would allow you to play Lex, Queen Bee, Prometheus, and the General as an Injustice Gang theme team, as would any reasonable opponent in a non-tourney setting. Just show them a relevant comic or Wiki article with that specific lineup if need be.

Depending on Wizkids to provide accurate keywords is a futile effort. It is not a big deal with characters with dozens of iterations, but characters who get clixed once a decade or less really need to be given all their proper keywords, for truth's sake and if only for the sake of players who appreciate and value those characters.

Like even 1 competent person who cared at the company could avoid a lot of annoyance. If you are going to bother to do something (have keywords and game effects that rely on them), do it right. Incompetence is one (deserved) reason WizKids gets so much grief.

Not bad, but I think that they could have done much more with her. I wish she were a Super Rare. Maybe give her a honeycomb throne or something...
