I want to put down my guesses for who will be in the Secret Wars set. Later I will put down my concept for what I believe some of the characters could be.


Since we have quite a few characters to finish off the series, Old Man Logan's Hawkeye should be here.


I also figure we will see AOA Apocalypse, AOA Abyss, AOA Rogue, AOA Nate Grey, AOA Morph, AOA Quicksilver in probably his best costume ever. ( X-Man was done but not in original costume.) Maybe even Beak

If AoA were in it, I think it would be listed in the theme list. It was listed as a sub-theme last 2 sets they appeared. I don't see them happening in this set.

I'd actually be very surprised to see any X-Men characters in the Secret Wars set. WizKids seems dead set these days on keeping any and all X-Men related characters in their own distinct sets apart from the characters who could be used by Marvel Studios.

Not WizKids, it was a mandate by Marvel. They haven't been allowed to mix X-characters with other stuff since AvX. That said, X-sets tend to be very deep, so unless there's some kind of specific crossover for the character (like Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver as part pf an Avengers theme, F4 Wolverine, etc.), there's not a lot of reason to do it. We haven't really gotten X-themes/characters just mixed into other sets since the early days.

I think the last time we got an X-Men related sub-theme in a non-X set was Alpha Flight in Invincible Iron Man. Aside from that, you're going back to things like Fear Itself, 10th Anniversary, and Chaos War for random X-characters showing up.

The chance of AoA showing up in Battleworld is probably about 0%. If they were going to do more, it would be in the next X-set. And I wouldn't even bet on that happening, because they've already exhausted most of the options. I think its far more likely to see a couple as con-exs over the next couple of years, like they've done with KC. They already did Kitty. I would bet money they do a Nightcrawler at some point. After that.... eh, Gambit? I mean, I wanna say we're already kinda hitting the bottom of the barrel, but they did a KC Orion, so who knows.

Edit: Although, now that I think about it, I'd love if they did some non-mutant AoA characters in a non-X set at some point. Most of them weren't powered, but a lot of the big names were still around, mostly in X-Universe.

The fact that Secret Wars has a subtitle- Battleworld- leads me to believe that it's possible we'll get another set based on Secret Wars. There was definitely enough X miniseries in Secret Wars to draw from, plus stuff from Time Runs Out, the original Secret Wars and the prerequisite off topic stuff.

These figures need done. And as much as I am against mis-Keywording things, that Morph will need the Exiles keyword, even though the Exiles version was not the same, I would allow it, lol.

- Yes, what a shame! Inhumans VS X-Men would be an awesome event! Hopefully this can be possible when Disney completes the Fox aquisition process around 2020.


- I think WK could perfectly alternate between X-Universe bases sets and Avengers universe based sets, since there are still a looooot of story arcs and charaters that have not been clixed yet. Anyway... I need a new Gambit! Maybe a future OP Kit for Marauders! (Pleeeeease)

AoA Nightcrawler's already been done in modern form - he's the LE from Wolverine and the X-Men.

I'd rather see (and think it's more likely) that we might see AoA Rogue, Gambit, or even horseman Havok before they do AoA nightcrawler again.
