Red Tornado "A Simpler Time" VS. Flurry (or multiple attacks in the same turn)

I had a question regarding the trait of "A Simpler Time" vs Flurry (or multiple attacks in general).
Red Tornadoes trait reads: A SIMPLER TIME: Once per turn for all characters with this trait, if a character uses the JSA team ability to replace its defense value with Red Tornado's, if the attack missed, heal the target 1 click.
My question is, does the "Once per turn" limit this effect to one attack? Or would using this effect during say Flurry, and the opponent missing both attacks lead to 2 clicks healed?
I believe you can only heal once per turn, not once per attack. The extra conditions just tell you when you are allowed to use the once per turn heal. If you heal off the first missed attack, you don't get to heal again if the next attack also missed.
You can only heal once, the first time you choose to use the TA to replace defense.
You could, however, choose not to use the TA against the first attack from Flurry, and wait and see if you get hit. Then if you got hit, you'll likely want to use it for the second attack, for a higher defense and a chance to heal. This is a good thing to keep in mind, especially if they're attacking a character on their first click. If you use the TA then, it will "burn" your use of Simpler Time for the turn.
