Hey so I got this peice looks and sounds pretty cool it's called admantium ball and chain it's supposed to be a object I guess it modifys speed negitive three and its says you may now may is really ify in heroclix but it says you may ko the object do I have to ko it
If I wasn't descriptive enough il change the text and have it exact effect but if anyone can tell me how to youse it that would be great

"After resolutions, you may KO this object". After resolutions of an attack where you hit while equipped with this object, you may ko it. if you choose to KO it, then the hit characters gets -3 speed for the rest of the game.

So do I have to jo it ? Or can I keep using it

I see you're new here, and I assume you're new to the game. I'll try to explain this as thoroughly as I can, with the assumption that you don't fully understand the rules yet.



The Adamantium Ball and Chain is a Heavy Special Object, which is also an Equipment. One way to use it is just as a Heavy Object, ie; picking it up with Super Strength, and later giving the character an Object Action to use it in an attack (covered on pg. 26 in the rulebook). If you are holding it as a Heavy Object, you do not gain access to the EFFECT portion, as that is only used when it is Equipped.

The other use for it is as an Equipment. Equipment is covered on pg. 35 of the rulebook. If you choose to Equip the Adamantium Ball and Chain, the character can use the EFFECT, so they will get the -3 Speed. Then, when they hit with an attack, you will choose whether or not you want to KO it, and if you choose to do so, it will give that hit character -3 Speed for the rest of the game. "May" is always optional in HeroClix.

So, when used as Equipment, the Adamantium Ball and Chain is generally only a hinderance to the Equipped character, until they can hit another character and KO it with the effect.
