To "bring in" the new Chases from Batman Animated,
do ALL THREE attacks have to miss?

Or does just the THIRD ATTACK have to miss?
(it doesn't matter if the first two attacks hit or miss)

(It seems to be somewhat confusing to some)

(even the way you're saying it somewhat leads to 2 interpretations of what you're sayin)

Three attacks have to miss that turn.
That's the way I see it.
(If three attacks all miss)

To be clear, it doesn't need to be your third overall attack and they all missed.

Just your third miss. It could be your tenth total attack. Or twentieth. However many you've made when you get to that third miss

There won't be an official ruling until the set releases, assuming they even answer a question like that.

Well, we're not official. But yes, the "third attack to miss" means exactly that, the third missed attack of the turn.

The way I read it

activates the trait.

Nowhere does it say if this is the 3rd attack to miss etc. It says it activates on critical misses and when a 3rd attack misses all targets. Its quirky but so were the Super Friends.

It does not say 'If this character made the third attack this turn and missed'. It says 'third attack to miss'. This is a condition on the quantity. It has to be third actual miss.

It says that thing you said it doesn't say right there in bold.

"The third attack this turn that misses", not "Misses the third attack made this turn." like you're suggesting.

Ahhhh........true that. I guess I was reading into too much.

So...a question I havent seen is do you score the sideline character when they are KO'd and or are they available to pop back in again?

Yes they are scored when KO'd. Once KO'd, they will be in your KO'd Area, not your Sideline.
