Personally, there's a lot I'm really excited to experience. Simon Belmont and all the Castlevania content has me pumped, and I'm looking forward to playing King K. Rool, even if I'm not excited about the character. Should be fun either way.

Glad to see guys like Zero and Alucard on the Assist Trophy level, but I wish Shovel Knight were playable. Better as an assist than not at all, and I hope that some of Jake Kaufman's killer SK music made it into the game, but oooh, the joy I would have had to know that Shovel Knight was on the fighter roster...

I would have taken Alucard over Simon and Richter in a heartbeat, but I guess some Castlevania is better than none at all. I'm also glad they got 30 songs for that one stage.

I'm pretty excited about this game. I only played Smash 4 for a bit before I got distracted and never got back into it, this should be a good opportunity to rectify that.

Yeah, I guess with Castlevania, everybody's got their favorites, but Smash has to go for the single most iconic character in a franchise to add as a guest fighter, and when you boil it down, Simon Belmont is the single most iconic Castlevania protagonist. Just like they couldn't go with anybody but Ryu from Street Fighter, or anybody but Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy.

I like that Simon has an echo fighter, since as of now he's the only guest fighter to have one. It makes me wonder if they'll do Ken as an echo fighter for Ryu, since, well, come on, that's exactly what he always was. Maybe even go really crazy and do MGS2's version of Raiden as a Snake echo fighter, though that one probably would be a little controversial. Ms. Pac-Man as Pac-Man's echo? The possibilities are there now!
