someone told me that when using TTPC the character using the TTPC to make the reroll does not have to have line of fire/sight to the target.
is this accurate?....am i missing something?
This is incorrect, TTPC gives the characters that are using it the ability to use probability control as stated on page 33 of the rulebook. It follows the same rules of PC which state that "A targeted character must be within range and line of fire".
When you say target, do you mean the target of the attack or the attacker? The way I made sense of prob is if you can see the source of the action, and it is in range, you can prob it. I don't need to prob where the hit lands, moreso where it is coming from.

What does the PAC say?
PROBABILITY CONTROL Once per turn, you may reroll a target character’s attack roll
or break away roll. A targeted character must be within range and line of fire, minimum range
value 6.

the original contention in this thread was that TTPC, by some bizarre logic, acts different than Probability Control. i didn't buy it... but i wanted to get it clarified here. Thanks all!!!

No worries. I saw that answered and wanted to draw attention that prob does target. And there is only one possible target, if one reads the power.
