While we are getting the umpteenth version of Superman and Batman, there are still oh so many more or less popular characters out there that are still waiting impatiently for their Heroclix debut. In this edition of Unclixed, it's Batman's brother Lincoln March!

When writer Scott Snyder was tapped to write Batman when the New 52 started, one of the characters that was introduced was Lincoln March, a mayoral candidate that quickly took to Bruce Wayne and backed his ideas for revitalizing Gotham City. March's support of Bruce would soon make him a target for The Court of Owls and their Talons when they launched an assault on Gotham and its people.

Unfortunately for Batman, this was all part of a ruse by Lincoln to get close to Bruce and then strike. Taking on the role of Owlman on this Earth, he would soon reveal to Batman that he's more than just a part of the Court and a local politician, he's also the long lost younger brother of Bruce Wayne. That he was born Thomas Wayne Jr. and sent into hiding when the Court attacked Thomas and Martha and forgotten after their deaths.

Bruce doesn't believe this though, and thinks Lincoln was just told this as a part of the Court's machinations. Batman would fend off Lincoln, though he would eventually return during the events of Batman Eternal, being revealed as the mastermind behind the entire year-long ordeal. That plan too ended up being foiled and Lincoln wouldn't be seen again until the Robin War a few years ago.

Why clix him? I know we get a lot of Bat-related stuff in HeroClix to the extent that it can feel tiring. But Lincoln has been one of the biggest villains Batman has faced in his book in recent times and that alone is what would warrant him being made.

Who would he play with? The Court of Owls for starters. Politician keyword, and one could probably make a case that even in an ironic fashion, Lincoln could get the Batman Family keyword also.

What would his dial look like? Probably a lot like Batman's, at least in terms of the damage and defense powers. As a guy that orchestrated a really bad year for Batman and Gotham in general, he's easily suited for having Outwit and Perplex, or some super special versions of it. He'd have Stealth for sure, Combat Reflexes, Exploit Weakness, Close Combat Expert.

Based on the broad scope of Trinity War when it came out I'd think it is possible to see him in Rebirth. Of the unclixed he probably would be in the top 5 along with Jessica Cruz and Jonathan Kent. We eventually got Dr. Hurt and other newer villains.

I fear my only hope for Kanjar Ro would be the unlikely(?) 2020 Justice League Unlimited set and I'm not sure if I'll still be playing by then. In the past we might look to Feb of 2020 to be another DC set, but with this year's release schedule... it'll be interesting. Especially if they dont do a JLU set until Nov 2020 or sometime in 2021...
