Wildcard team ability, cheap Leadership and RCE as well as Mastermind, Stealth and Blades means she's going to see some play on casual games. That 11 attack could really help out with a Batman Enemy team with a lot of henchman to MM onto.

This is really getting out there, but Silver Sable has the potential to be the best Maggia/Enforcers leader. You can just outright name any named keyword. I'm looking for ways to break the New Boss Every Week trait, which requires the character to have Leadership or Mastermind. Silver Sable can just take any named keyword, so if you can find someone who benefits one that doesn't have either power, she can give it to them. It's a big stretch, but that's the magic of keyword shenanigafoolery. It's more than just making a named theme team.

Sure, it's cool that you can add her to any theme team, but in the end, what does she really add that you couldn't get elsewhere...? Not that much, if you ask me.

Hoojeebo, well, she's got decent numbers on her dial for 50 points, Sidestep, and a 5 range (so an effective range of 7), and Energy Explosion can be pretty dirty depending on how it's used. Plus, she's got that tasty Leadership, which with the right keyword, she can suddenly take tokens off of anyone. So, all told, I feel just based on her dial alone, she's a solid B grade. Then consider this: toss her onto, say, a Secret Wars: Battleworld team with a Battleworld Baron. Suddenly you've got a 13 AV or 5 DV. To me, it's all about finding keywords that will buff her from a B piece to an A grade.

I've never tossed out an old piece for a new version of the character faster than losing the 2014 Deadpool common for Platinum Sable here. I'd already call it a great dial for a fifty-point common before giving *any* named keyword to a character who has both of the standard powers that work off keywords. Any keyword that needs a little Leadership can hire her at a very reasonable rate.

i agree with organous and Sir Arthur. both stategies are sound and effecient. i would like to add to the ideas with wakandan,the hand, and hydra swarms. leadership token removal just keeps them coming. adw058 black panter, adw068 daredevil, and nfaos046 imperial hydra could make use of her field tactics and leadership as they all generate or bring in from outside more harrassment. as if swarm teams werent annoying enough, now they're bonkers. just a thought

I like the street level characters to be able to do some damage at the starts, such as Psychic Blast or Exploit Weakness, since they normally will have less DV and die sooner, if they are comic accurate. That is why I like the DP Silver Sable dial design better, and wish this one had PB on the first click as well.

Does her trait work with all new wolverines trait?

Depends what you mean by “work with.” Both traits trigger “during force construction,” so I believe you could resolve them in either order. So if you resolve Sable’s first, and choose one of All-New Wolverine’s printed keywords, then when you resolve A-N W’s trait A-N W could gain Soldier and Wild Pack.
