I always appreciate when a set sub-theme or sub-sub-theme makes a nice even point total, and doubly if they’re all Commons or Uncommons, so I’ve been playing the four Earth X Excalibur pieces a fair amount since that set released. Holy geez does this one take the cake. Blue Man Group gives +1 attack to ALL FRIENDLY CHARACTERS if he makes his Leadership. He might even have the Diana Prince Justice Rider beat, because unlike her he gets the attack bump himself, and whether he makes the Leadership or not he’s still got Enhancement on offer.

The other two Excalibur Uncommons from the set are close-combat focused, and Red Union Jack’s using Energy Explosion instead of taking the Enhancement, and this guy’s still helping them out quite a bit. I shudder to think how crazy he could make an Earth X or Soldier team... let alone what you could do running two of him (insert your own Tobias Funke joke here).

I also like how he the points also line up decently with the older prime union jack. can run Brian, 2x blue, x2 red and 1 prime union jack at 400 points on the nose.
