That may be, but what about the entry in the RB that says that a "starting Sideline is what you build during force construction."
Since Sable's trait takes effect during Force Construction, couldn't this be a loophole for exploitation, and allow her to be Sidelined with the Eternal KW, since her power came in to effect at the same time the Sideline is being built?
Just playing devil's advocate here, not really trying to jam up the gears or anything.
Although on the flip side... would you really want to use her instead of any other Eternal for Uni- Mind?
-Heroclix is not a game of logic, it's a game of strategy .... after all, when's the last time that you saw a giant (using a stealth ability) that was hiding behind a swingset... and nobody could SEE him????

Nope. We already beat this to death with Eternity. It doesn't work.

I agree. I had Uni-Mind. Traded him away because he's ridiculous. Too complicated for our family games.
This is hilarious because it's exactly what I did. Saw how cool his perplex power could be so I picked one up. Played Uni-mind one time. He was so broken that it wasn't even fun. Traded him immediately.
What we did was just change up Uni-Mind's point totals to 500/400/300 and then you can add Eternals to him. If you ever get a chance play him like that you'll see he's a bit more balanced out. And screw all those extra Perplex's you get with every two Eternals, that's way too much.
I HATE those Eternals as they can dish out so much damage and crap. They were NEVER that powerful.
CAAV058 Immortal Hulk is here. There is no stopping him. For he will rise again and crush your bones. Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Far be it from me to contribute to a thread derailment, but what do you think of Untamed Weirdness (Opposing characters combat values, other than range, cannot be modified when attacking or being attacked by this character) or Sherrif Steve Rogers (NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW: Leadership. When Sheriff Steve Rogers or an adjacent friendly character is attacked, the attacker cannot positively modify or replace their attack value.) as possible counters for Uni-Mind?
If it worked (it doesn't), it would give Uni-Mind access to Mastermind.
Huh... didn't think about that part of it. Whew!

I've had a few figures like that which I've done the same thing with... Nimrod and LE Odin come to mind.

That would be great... but he can perplex range and keep out of their range... or the defense so it's almost impossible to hit him anyways.
