I'm looking at the pool, and I feel like there should be an orange square with a ladder special object. Remove the ladder while a character is in the pool and deal the character unavoidable damage each turn they're in the pool.
That said, I'm digging this map. It looks nice and deceptively simple now, but it'll be interesting once the hindering and blocking terrain have been added in. Plus, I would love to play a character with improved movement: blocking here. This house is just begging to be ripped up.
One of the things i really appreciate about your maps are lighting effects. the lights from the sidewalk lamps, the shadows cast by the objects add an excellent touch

Yeah, I'm loosely recreating the ancient original house map from the early 2000's map kit they made at beginning of the game. It was a very crammed hard to move through map.

I kinda cheat, as my maps are all 3D. So I'm creating actual CGI style lighting rigs, and the objects in my maps are literal virtual objects that casts real shadows.
That said I work hard to "sculpt" with shadows, as the eagle eye perspective can limit what you show in the art.
