Ok, i know a lot of people here probably hate me by now, and i don't blame them.
I've been rather rude lately and i apologize. But like me or hate me, i could use some help.
Now, I'm thinking of building a deck based on Bottomless Shift Sand, Gravity bind, Swarm of Locusts and Scarabs, and Inaba White rabit along with other spirits.
I think it could really work out well if done right. Problem is, i lack the ability to make any sort of good deck. I try to be original, i lose. I try not to be original, i still lose.
I'm at a fricken 10 to 300 losing streak. Well, not really, but it's bad.
Can someone help me out here? Please? Pretty please?
All i'm asking for is suggested cards/tactics.......
Ok........ i'm not sure of type of deck your trying to put together here....... but for what I can see your trying to use BSS with the spirits so it's effect won't banish (correct me if i'm wrong), now theres a slight problem here...... if your playing SOS you'll be destroying your opponent monsters, BSS will resolve destroying your monsters at any time your opponent doesn't have monsters on their side of the field. Now you could really wise this idea up, by putting in a couple of Tsukuyomi's in there, maybe a CED and give it a bit of spirit control.... this cards might help you out with this deck idea:
Stumbling, Ordeal of the Traveler + The Dark Room, Non-Agression Area, and leaving your opponent with nothing to protect them you might wanna combo it with some White Magical Hat's for a complete anihilation of his game...... this Spirit/Control deck might be a great idea for a deck......anything I can help you out with just PM, or reply to this...... gl

Thanks for the reply, man.
The point of the Spirits is 2 fold. To swoop in for timed attacks as well as keep my hand full so BSS won't die on it's own. Inaba White rabbit will attack directly, Gavity Bind will protect...... Non agression area? I haven't used it before, but i will certainly try it out.
Oh, and great idea for WMH. What do you think of 8 claws scorpion? Ya know, for those time they actually get a set creature down? And stealth bird could get a lot of hits in as well......
CED isn't my kind of card, man. I don't think i'll ever use it. It's just too powerful. I'd feel cheap using it.
Again, thanks for the tips. I'm going to build a deck right now and post it as soon as possible.
*EDIT* sorry, forgot something. I'll only have spirits and self flipping cards. This garuntees my monsters would ever be killed by BSS (BSS doesn't effect face down cards). ^_^
its an ok idea... just sounds like another stall deck... 3x robbin goblin .... a good side deck will own this though ;/ and jinzo seems like it will rape it... maybe... 3x horn of heaven and 3x solemn judgement and 3x curse of royal and 3x gbind and 3x messenger of peace and 3x level limit b.... you should pwn then... if u dont use all those then your deck will get raped... but at least your trying to be original... u wont even have to use many of the staple cards... i dont think snatch steal would be needed... maybe change of heart... but i dont think its needed... pot of greed is def needed... premature and call also... no heavy storm... and mst is kinda needed...
Hey, thanks for the reply!
Yeah, at first glance this is probably a regular stall. But i'm not really stalling for anything, lol. It's just meant to be an off-beat tactic for fighting. And especially since the ban list killed a lot of Magic/trap removal, i'm thinking of a lot of these kinds of decks.
Perhaps i should look toward Giant axe mummy as well? For those times when i'm 'Caught off gaurd' ?
Yeah, I have a lot of trouble with Jinzo in all of my deck ideas.....
But i suppose Double snare would help too....
Level limit area would be a great edition as well!
why would u use double snare? that card only works on 2 cards in the entire game... and most people just run jinzo.. dont use it... smashing ground / hammer shot... and use all the cards i said and your deck will be really good... if u dont use them then its just mediocre..
I might be wrong but.......Does this card not apply to jinzo as well?
He means that Jinzo is really the only widely used card that Double Snare would work on. Other cards with trap negating effects are Tyrant Dragon, Royal Decree, Sorcerer of Dark Magic, The Dragon's Bead and such. Ryu Senshi can't be targeted by Magic cards so it won't work on him. Not to mention they also have to be able to NEGATE Trap cards, not just destroy them or prevent activation.

Incorrect, there is a fair enough chance to run into a Jinzo in any tournament. So it is played enough to become a threat. I hate people that make these kind of claims with nothing to back it up but the experience in their own meta.
If jinzo is really going to be a big problem for this deck use solemn judgement or horn of heaven. Smashing ground is better than hammershot so go with that. My reason why is because hammer shot effects you're own monsters as well.
I know, which is why i stated that all my monsters atk's are lower than Jinzo's.....
But i suppose i would have to use the card outside of jinzo as well, and that could cause problems......
But i could also just use double snare, as it's effect is more specific to what i want it to do. When i go with smashing ground or a card that kills the trap version of jinzo (royal decree, is it?), then there's a chance i won't have the ability to destroy one or the other.....
Hammer Shot is great in Wennie Decks, but if he plans on using anything more than 1500 attack, I really don't see the point of Smashing Ground. They basically effect the same range of high attack monsters; which are Tribute Summonings. Most monsters that have high attack will have higher defense than your other monsters, which makes both of them basically do the same thing can gain the same out come. But yes, Hammer Shot works against you as well, which is a problem if you have monsters above 1500 attack. I don't think he plans on having monsters above 1500 attack anyway, since he is thinking of using the Scarab cards and lower level cards; which I might add have extremely low attack compared to the average monster scene in a tournament.
not to be rude but double snare = crap;/ its a fairly bad top deck use hammer shot or smashing ground.... and i dont see the problem with hammer shot... attack there monster and if u run into sakurestu then play hammer shot... boom there crappy monster = dead... yea u could of just played smashing ground and got to attack directly and run into that same sakurestu... but hammer shot is prob a better top deck....
