Since I haven't seen any deck of this type, I thought about making one. Now before I start, let it be known I don't buy singles. Too expensive to go online to buy and I don't have the luxury of going to some store where I can get singles cheap. So from boosters I buy at whatever stores I go to, I've finally made the deck I've always wanted to make... the Sorcerer's Deck, though it's far from the perfect:

Lemme just say, that I love this deck. No real staples, great originally! I would fall in love with with deck! I have a suggestion for you though. If your gonna try for a spellcaster type and don't wanna worry about Buster Blade, pop in some Kings of the Swamp (their easy to pick up in the Ancient Sactuary Boosters!) I wish I could go up against you with my DP deck!

Ah, yes. Sorcerer of Dark Magic! I love him and his effect. I would try to lean toward making the majority of your monsters spellcasters so that he is easier to summon. I would add these for the Sorcerer theme:

+2 Dark Magician Girl/+1 Magical Marionette
+1 Dark Magician/+1 Magical Marionette
+1 Sorcerer of Dark Magic
+1 Magician of Faith
+1 Chaos Sorcerer

Take these out:

-1 Buster Blader
-1 Royal Magical Library
-1 Hysteric Fairy
-1 Roulette Barrel
-1 Emblem of Dragon Destroyer
-1 Polymerization
-2 Last Will
-1 Miracle restoring
-1 Spear Cretin

The Dark Paladin needs his own deck IMO to work out, even in a spellcaster deck. You can also add some more removal cards like Smashing Ground or Nobleman of Crossout, Sakaretsu Armor too. Waboku can work better in my opinion. You may need more ways to sumon Sorcerer so, some monster recursion can help. The Spear Cretin gives your opponent some more options if the effect goes off. Thats why I suggested to take it out. You are going to need more draw power too. Jar of Greed can work out. PM me if the suggestions work out. I would like to see how this deck turns out. I myself am making a Dark Magician Girl deck and Sorcerer is in there too :D Hope you like it.

i like it, spellcasters are Uber cool, 9/10 IMO, but keep it cool, take the advice, IF YOU WANT TO, don't do anything you dis-like, as deck that you hate isn't worth playing with!!!!!

Thanks everyone. I will try and look for those kings of the swamp, Orbus. And as for Dark Magician Girl, do any of you have one, because that is my most favorite card probably in the game, at least art wise. And as for your suggestions LavaGolem you made a good point about spellcasters. I'm more a burn expert, so I'll definitely take the advice, but honestly, I don't have those cards because the cards I listed are what I have. I don't have any more chaos sorcerers, sorcerer of dark magics, or dark magicians (except the magician of faith), so I can't add them to the deck unless I trade with friends who hopefully have them, but I'll post later with an updated deck fix.
