Here I sit a newb and am attempting to start playing in just simple card shop tourneys, the tourneys are advanced format and here is the deck i have so far...

Already I'm planing of getting another berserk gorilla or two, but beyond that any suggestions?

limit the tribute monsters to a maximum of probably 3, whether it be 2 tributes or 1, 6 is way to many, but since your new and probably don't have much it's kind of hard to help, but i guess if this is supposed to be a newbie dragon deck at least get in the Lord of D. and flute of summoning dragon combo, thats always useful

ok let's see small delemmia with my tribute's to remove some.

1. I like the lvl 6's better than the 7, 8's due to tributality
2. Each of my 7, 8's has a coresponding non-tribute monster to help em on the field
3. Only barrel dragn is without a lower help monster but he's got a pretty awesome ability, so...

Blue Eyes White has Kaiser sea horses that can be tributed to get him out
REd Eyes hads those Red Eyes Chicks

which to drop which to stay I don't know

red eyes is going to be easier to get out with the chicks... usually you wont be able to keep kaiser on the field long enough to summon out Blue Eyes, drop the prenumberal soldier lady and luster Dragons... and choose either Blue Eyes or Red Eyes to be the king of this deck, both have a some good support... Red Eyes is about to get a lot i think in february. Run Multiples of either or the other... I say this because they are both relatively easy to come by... I would probably play with red eyes it looks like you'll be able to get him out faster.

your non tribute monsters are pretty good... since we're getting rid of all the light monsters.. maybe out the kaisers for either double costons just in case you don't get your Baby chic or if you can some of those 1900 attack dragons

your spells are a different story i''m not very good at deciding my own spells so you can mess around with that i know there are a lot of good dragon specific spells and you could even keep a look out for red eyes burst stream or whatever it is called red eyes does direct damage it's a pretty good card especially if you can swarm

i might also consider last will to go with mystic tomatos or baby chics or masked dragons... for added swarm..

I just can't see running a dragon deck without at least 2 or 3 of lord of d. and flute, especially if you want 4 or 5 tribute monsters like you have. You should also think about Inferno Fire Blast if you decide to run a Red Eyes B. Dragon themed deck.

Play Tested deck as is now and the changes were difinent improvements.
What do you think about the deck after that, some spell suggestions would be nice too...

If you are going for a red eyes deck look in my sig, i'm running one now. if you decide to run that go with something close to my sig but with inferno fire blasts.

Now if you like blue eyes, here are some musts.

Paladin Of White Dragon and his ritual x3
Kaiser Seahorse x2-3
Burst stream of destruction x2-3(great feild cleaner)

For some dragon power get Spirit Ryu,Spear Dragon,Luster Dragon x3 all of 'em. Get a super rejuvination it's great with dragons, and a couple of Monster Gate(s) to get monsters out faster.
