My deck is your A-Typical Kaiba starter deck. A few boosters and other mods, but I think it's a pretty good deck. However, I keep getting pounded by my brother's Yugi starter deck, with a few boosters and no mods. No cuts, no variants, no nothing. Is there anyway I can beat him?
He might be beating you because Kaiba Starter Decks, well, suck. No offense, but you may want to think about trying to get some good cards, maybe? I know this might not have helped you beat your brother, but hopefully you can get some good cards down the road.

That's it. I do have a little trouble knowing when to use the trap cards, other than that, I'm pretty good, I think at least.
From my point of view, your Deck lacks focus, and it's wayyyy too big. Are you making a Traditional or Advanced Kaiba Deck? Tell me that and I'll see what I can do for you.
alrite...seeing as how others havnt helped u much...ill help out
first off...from jus looking at it...there are way too many monsters...
an average deck usually contains 50% spell/trap and 50% monsters
also remember that 40 cards is minimum...and getting as close as you can to 40 is better since it improves the chances of drawing what u want
alrite...im going to just use the cards in your posted deck to make a new deck for you...you dont have to follow what i say 100% of course...

Dragon Tribe (i recomment losing this...however it many help with using with mountains field card to increase att power...up to you) (if u didnt know...this does not affec your hand...so you cant flute out stuff like sword hunter)

thats a 40 card deck...absolute minimum...makes it very easy to get cards that can help you out...
some of the monster cards i dont really remeber what their att and def are...so theres only soo much i can say...dark energy should be alot of help to you here...soo if u feel more monsters are needed (at thats ok...just dont add too many...maybe up to 5 more)...try to add in monsters that not only are strong...but can be powered up further by this card...or by your mountains field card
you said you also had a brother who uses a deck made out of yugi starters...if he needs deck help then feel free to send me a private message and ill do what i can to help...and dont worry bout asking questions that may seem obvious or even simple...all people are new to stuff at some point, so its only fair that those who understand the game help out those who do not
oh yes and since i noticed someone mentioned buying rise of destiny boosters...before buying boosters...perhaps getting the kiaba evolution starter deck would help more (2 or 3 of them works even better)...while cards in boosters may be better...they come at random...while the starter deck will have stuff that will be better at helping you
kaiba evolution (evo) theme deck is a good choice since u have already have lord of d, and flute of summon d...paladin of white d make getting out blue eyes easy
yugi evo starter...contains some better cards that kaibas (such as axe of despair which is an equip card that boosters a monsters attack by 1000...and swords of revealing light which can stop attacks to you for 3 turns)
pegasus starter...while it has a few 1800 attackers, and the useful mystical space typhoon which allows you to destroy one spell or trap on the field (yugi evo also has mystical space typhoon)...over all the other starters may be better
joey starter...not bad really...i found it very helpful to me when it first came out...a few 1800 attackers (when i say 1800 i mean non-tribute monsters)...and two powerful cards; penguin soldier and scapegoat
the normal yugi and kaiba starters you and your brother have...so its not needed...
also, i believe each of those starters above (not including the normal kaiba which u have...should contain one waboku trap card...which u probubly have seen in your brothers deck...this trap card is very very useful (ignore the text on the card, its not 100% correct)...
what it does is it stops your monsters (all of them) from being destroyed when attacked, as well as stopping all damage done to your life points...and you dont need to wait for the opponent to attack to activate it...so if they use a card to destroy it such as mystical space typhoon, you can activate it right then and it will protect you for the rest of the turn
