Pitch-Black Warwolf, Dark Driceratops and Gaia Power are pure tech. I ten to lean towards Airknight as my choice of tribute but I feel that Dark Driceratops is just more versatile and useful in the deck. So my Airknight had to be sacrificed for the good of the deck. Pitch-Black is great against the Sakuretsu Armors that it seems that no deck can get enough of in my meta. Gaia Power and Giant Trunade serve to further the effectiveness of my rush. I love this deck. It is lots of fun. Oh right... I am aware that I run no Torrential Tribute. I chose to use Waboku over it because if this deck is played right I tend to constantly have field advantage. Any r/f would be appreciated.
Two Gigantes CAN lead to bad draws. True, they won't always, and most often won't, but they can. Also, you'll probably be tempted to remove Nimbles first, which can cause problems after a Fiber Flip. If Sak Armors are a problem, side-deck Nobleman of Extermination, it's that simple. Wanghu will aid in stopping Scapegoats alongside Enraged to keep your field presence - Wanghu is incredibly versatile, you'd be surprised.
- Dark Driceratops
+ Airknight Parshath
Meh. So what, you have a 2900 ATK monster with Gaia. oooOoOoOOOOoooOO... Draw power is still key. Also, you know my position on Jinzo ;-)
- Sakuretsu Armor
+ Torrential Tribute
If you want to run Waboku, eh, whatever. Torrential is still too good to pass up. Or if you really have a thing against TT, run Needle Ceiling =P
You may want to try Book/Controller over your Scapegoat as well since you claim to "constantly have field advantage."
Thanks for the fixes Chicken Man xD. Sakuretsus aren't a problem per say. They are an inconvenience that can be easily averted with Pitch-Black Warwolf. I may playtest the Wanghus. I hold your positions on Jinzo but I feel that based on the rush nature of this deck that Jinzo will be more effective than Mobius in keeping field advantage. It doesn't take too many turns to wipe out your opponent's life points when you have the monster arsenal that I have so saving for later doesn't factor in. Dark Driceratops has simply proven to be pure ownage. nuff said
DaX and Revision, you guys are kinda missing a big part of the theme here. Pitch-Black is a tech/playtest and thus far I think he is on his way out. Gigantes owns in this deck nuff said though i may drop it to one. I'm thinking of making it more pure rush but we will see where I go with it. I want to take an Earth deck to regionals because I hate the perceived dominance of Chaos and I love the fact that I think I could win with a decktype that hasnt done crap in regionals so far - Earth/Beast
Apart from your monster list being nearly identical to the Shonen Jump beast deck a little while ago, some good magic cards. Althought i would drop a Breaker or a Serpent for an Exiled and a Giant Rat. Field presence etc...
