Could these cards bring out the Dark Paladin? Does anyone REALLY know that answer?

Well seeing as how his effect says that he can only be special summoned by fusion summon, I would say no.

---> This monster can only be Special Summoned by Fusion Summon <----. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, you can negate the activation of 1 Spell Card and destroy the Spell Card by discarding 1 card from your hand. The ATK of this card increases by 500 points for each Dragon-Type monster on the field and in either player's Graveyard.

There's your answer right there.

Hmm hmm...I was just making sure. I'm pretty aware of the text on the card. I just wanted to see if there was an expection like the whole "You can use King of The Swamp to bring him out" deal.

he wrote down the wrong text. Dark paladin says "This card cannot be special summoned EXCEPT by fusion summon." That's much different than "this card can only be special summoned by ____", which is what bls says. you CAN reborn bls as long as he's brought to the field normally. dark paladin cannot.. ONLY fusion summon.

Does the word tarheel make any sense relating to blue? I mean tar is black right? And is dark paladin worth it, or is it just a waste of fusion?

in or against a dragon deck, definitely worth it, otherwise probably not since his boost works best with dragons on the field and or grave.

as for Tarheel Blue, its to differ between the disgusting dark blue of Duke and the Beautiful Light Blue of Carolina --- its a tobacco road (ACC) thing

He is risky to play, being a nomi monster and all, but I wouldn't go as far as to say he's a waste of fusion. I absolutely love him to bits. ;)
