theres just lots of different ways to get big @$$ monsters on the field very very fast
The concept is sound but you lack M/T removal cards. In the post-ban world of gamming thats dangerous, because most people are running a lot more traps. So even if you do get your large monsters out, they'll just fall victim to the traps.
I suggest taking out "Painful Choice" and "Card Destruction" in favor of a "Giant Trunade" and a "Dust Tornado."
You're kidding, right? Most Post Ban decks run 5 to 8 traps, max, and if they run more, they're either cunningly intelligent or newbishly stupid. Painful Choice is a key staple in ANY Zombie deck, I mean there is no faster way to get Book of Life fodder into the graveyard then a good Painful. The same pretty much goes for Card Destruction, but it isn't quite as useful as Painful is.
Giant Trunade isn't anywhere near as good as most would believe, seeing as all those spells and traps just come back next turn to haunt you and laugh at you in the face. Dust Tornado is far too slow to use unless you face off against alot of burn decks in your meta.
I'd recommend taking out 1 Call of the Mummy, because 3 is overkill by far, and putting in Swords of Revealing Light.
Like wise I'd also take out 2 C.E.Devices and put in 2 Raigeki Breaks.
desmock u are very right in your observation about painful choice and card destruction and the fact that traps r very rarely(4-7 in each deck in my meta) played
and giant trunade isnt that great
but i do like the call of the mummy/ced because they r a key way to summon the big monsters in this deck
say i have a spirit reaper or pyramid turtle on the field and i draw call of the mummy and have ced out already i just return spirit reaper to my hand and special summon despair or ryu kokki then normal summon the spirit reaper again
it can be done many ways i just need to draw the cotm in early game to succeed and the only way to increase those chances r to put three in the deck
