Well sadly, Trap decks are pretty much trash, even in casual duels. If we had some of the trap monsters that JPN has, things would be different. But until we get them, there really isn't anything you can do in the line of trap decks, except maybe for a Stall/Burn/Last Turn sort of thing.
It is if you can lock their field in time with Spatial Collapse. Once you get them to the limit, they can only wait until you clear the field. They can not play any card from hand, except a tribute summon, which with Ojama tokens, that is no problem.
Just lock them in, then wait while you use Just Desserts to burn the opponent.
Once you have them locked, Wave Motion Cannon isn't so bad either. =P
Hallo, are we forgetting someone - Makyura the Destructor?! In my "overkill" hand/field control decks, I've managed to pull off some really naughty combos with Makyura, haha. I used 3x Night Assailants and 2x Makyura as my primary combo arsenal, and used Raigeki Break and Back to Square One to drop Makyura; then toss around traps like Bottomless Trap Holes and Time Seal and CotH - woohoo, fun fun fun!

An all whatever deck is usually crappy. Chain Burst = GG to you. Especially the deck someone posted above.
Ok No more, I saw all that i can stand, and cant stand no more. For one, if oyu are using Chain Burst, even on a side deck, you better check yourself, thats a very bad card, not worth it.
Secondly, traps, the aspect of surprise. Cuz there are combos, peaple just dont think. how does this sound Ojama trio, Ring one, then play another, then play Spatial Collapse, then Play 3 just dessers then Minor goblin official. Good game.
Tinzo, our best Mechanical friend, or in this case our worst Mechanical enemy, can be a pain in the back of a trap, but we can get around him. Solemn jugments, Horn Of heaven, or jsut kill them before he gets there.
Now we need magics,Traps are not so dependant,so we will use Some scapgoatsx3 for horn, Book of moonsx3, Wave motion so you can burn, painful choice for a Makura which i will explain soon enough, Pot of greed, doesnt hurt to be greedy, and last but not least, Metamorphesis, x2 use the scapegoats!!!
now for Monsters....
Makurax2: Please.... A guy who can get traps to activate from hand. Not including in this deck is like saying, " Why would i include My favorite Kind of sandwich, BLT, in my chaos deck?" its just not smart.
Sinister: Well you need some defence incase something happens, and goes ewll with metamorphesis.
Cat of Ill omensx3: Well sometimes you need some trap more than others, go figure.
Trap decks are said to be bad, but anyone ever thought why? If because jinzo, migthas well not run a single trap, cuzhe might be there! Jinzo is limited to 1 so you can be creative with traps, heck run free, if itm akes you happy you can try this
Skill drain, so jinzo is crap, then for kicks ring it!!!
Remember if chain burst is crap and no one runs it, trap decks is crap, who would run THAT? Jinzo itself can kill traps pretty bad even if its 1 out of 40 drawing chance.
however, I would have a 3/40 chance of drawing Solome judgement, plus I just might throw in a Mask of Restrict to add allitle bit of control, as long as I activated it after I summoned a Golem or two
