If I Use Ced Effect While Pheonix Is On The Field Will He Come Back On My Next Standby Phase?

I believe it will return on the controller's Standby phase. This will be the case also when MST is chained to Call of the Haunted, bringing Phoenix back during your opponents turn.

in this case Phoenix won't come back, because CED doesn't destroy cards, it just sends them to the graveyard. Phoenix ability only triggers when it is destroyed.

Yet another example of a card being just weak enough to be unstoppable. Ced not destroying means no to a lot of things, like v lord and phoenix. It also means no fake trap, which annoyed me when Cheddar Eclipse Dragon was still legal.

Also giant trunade angers me, as I could atleast Judgement or Fake Trap a harpie's.
