Wow old skool as it can get only changes would be to drop enemy controller and book of moon for 2 upstart goblins and you need some way to destroy your emissaries and sangan

Here's my idea, it's a little more risky but alot faster.
-2 Nightmare Penguins (only returns one card on your oppenents field back to thier hand if you want to bounce a monster back to your oppentents hand try penguin soldier or Wall of Illusion [searchable by Mystic tomato]
- 1 Spirit Reaper (almost your entire M/T is stall you don't need 2 plus if you really need the one you have left you can seach for it with->)
+ 3 Mystic Tomatos( Can search for just about any card that you have, Searching = Speed thins your deck by a card and gives you the right card at the right time)
- Enemy controler
+ Book of moon (can be used on your flip effect monsters or defensively against thier attacking monster)
- 2 Draining Shields (Again you have a ton of stall cards, I choose this one because it'll only save you for one turn max)
+ 2 Back up soldiers or factory of mass production(this is importantant because you have very few ways to get peices back from the graveyard to your hand and pieces in the graveyard are a prime target for removal from play)
If you really want to max out your speed you could try putting in 2-3 jars of greed in place of a few of your other traps. This may or may not end up being to much risk though depending on your opponent. Well I hope that this helps. Before control ruined it I played Exodia for about a year. It's a fun deck type.
