This deck is built around getting horus LV8 and armed dragon LV7 on the field. i dont see why ppl dont use troop dragon, after the first dragon destroyed the other two are face up, this protects from nobleman of crossout, the mystic swordsmen, etc.
this is only a first deck, so any help will be appreciated. im not really sure about draining shield, i like it cuz its got two effects, negates and increses your life points. ive been using reckless greed, it works very well, witha full hand your next to turns go in a breeze (cant say same thing about opponent). there any good trap cards besides burst breathe and dragon's rage?
I have no idea how 3 copies of your deck got up here. Anyway, take out one Troop Dragon for another Masked Dragon, 3 of those is way better than 3 Troop's.
Next, since this is your first dragon deck, I'm gonna suggest to take out the whole Horus line, except for one Horus LV6, which is a pain in the backside for all burner decks. So now that Horus is gone, there can be some support for your Armed Dragons. Firstly, add in two more Armed Dragon LV3 for speed with the three Masked Dragons. That will allow for a turn 2 Armed Dragon LV5, which will always be a threat. Plus, Super Rejuvination works very well with the discards of LV5 and LV7.
Also, I'm just gonna add in a Tyrant Dragon for sheer brute force.
Now for the LV6 and the LV8 dragons that were taken out earlier, adding in two Fusiler Dragons will help. 2800 gets rid of just about anything when discarded. Plus, they're not such a bad topdeck when the situation arises.
Now for the magic and traps. I'm gonna suggest taking out a Level up, and a Dragon's Bead(way too situational) for 2 Metamorphosis. Now, the reason for this is not to make this like a cookie-cutter deck, it's to help you get out one of the best dragons in the game today, King Dragun. This will help you to get out any Dragon you want, from your hand. So your Tyrants and LV6/LV5's wont be taking up important space in your hand.
For the traps, I'm going to remove Draining Shield and Blast with Chain for two Bottomless Trap Holes for protection against the common D.D monsters and Zombies that will be swarming the game for the next month or so.
Of course, you dont have to take these changes on board, you do what you want, it's just that Dragons as a deck-type are slow and these changes were designed to spped up the process of getting your big hitters on the field.
True, horus has to go except that Lvl 6. I noticed you seemed to have forgot some of the best cards in the game, namely Sangan, one of the best searchers, Magic Cylinder, the infamous "damage-returner" and Ring Of Destruction, Kaiba's favourite trap card???
i dont have those cards bryan, and i dont really wanna use them.
swoosh i have been considering removing horus and this setup looks good, i side deck 2 BTH, also fusiler and tyrant look like good replacements for the horus', i also wanna squeeze in a kaiser glider.
i dont have a king dragun yet, but id like to add a couple.
i use troop dragon as tribute since i can bring it back and a for field presence, but adding armed dragons is considered.
and the 3 copies are diff variations ive been making, testing new cards ive gotten or have only just used.
Seriously, honestly, i nvr thought highly of luster dragon. I prefer spear dragons to them, more often than not, its the spear dragons that help me inflict lp damage more than luster dragons. King Dragun is not bad, actually some dragon deck uses the combo of Lord Of D. + Dark Hex Fusion to summon him (My dragon deck does), not bad, when he comes out, normally its game-over for my opp.
Children yer all forgeting something ignore all this rubbish about Horus, and spear etc if i had that deck id throw in my good friend BARREL DRAGON!!!, i can ever seem to get 2 heads on the coin toss but hes got enoug attack as it is, then i equip him with my united We Stand making better than any monster you have there

Sure, Barrel Dragon is nice to play with, especially the coin-tossing (I miss those days when I get heads, 90% of my tosses.Lol.) But, he's not actually a "dragon" is he? I remembered that he is a machine... The stats are not bad, but still I wont want to use it, I'd rather use Tyrant Dragon.
