Why the heck aren't you running Pot, Graceful, or Duo?! They are the most dominate magic cards in the game right now. Heart of the Underdog may also be useful.
ZaQ777: LOL...the card count was right, I just forgot to list them....LOL...thanks. Heart of the Underdog, nice call...LMS how that can fit in....hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
Ok, now that we got that cleared up, on to the real suggestions.
If you re-format the monster line-up a little bit, you could throw in a couple of skill drains. Between the non-spellcasting area, the skill drain, and LLAB you will have completely shut down more than half of your opponent's deck.
Then, if you decide to go hard-core normal monsters, you could add in two man cell battle and soul ressurection for A LOT of swarm.
ZaQ777: How would you reformat the line up? Skill Drain is a nice call...I have been thinking about Two-Man Cell as well...Now Soul Resserection..not sure on that one. Read the card, the Monsters in Defense so it would be advisable to activate it on my opponent's End Phase so I can change it's battle position on my turn...down fall, is when either is destroyed, both are destroyed....but hey, it's a free monster...LOL...thanks..LMK...
15x Magic Cards
1x Pot
1x Graceful
1x Heavy Storm
1x Premature
1x Snatch
1x Mystical
1x Duo
1x Vortex
3x Heart of the Underdog
2x Two Man Cell Battle
2x Non-Spellcasting Area
This version doesn't abuse non-spellcasting area as much as your version. I like the LLAB though, I never thought of that one. This one is more focused on swarming. As for the soul ressurection, you are correct that you would have to chain it to the end phase, but the fact that losing one means you lose the other is irrelevant. It's the same as CotH.
It looks great to me as-is. My only real concerns are Dust Tornado and Judgment of Anubis. I'd rather use Solemn Judgment (how are your LP holding up with this strategy? could you handle a SJ or two?) to just laugh as anything they throw your way gets stopped.
I mean, it's an interesting idea if nothing else.
Otherwise, this rates a 10/10 for originality, and an 8.99/10 for playability.
Mind checking out the Duel King's deck in my sig? Thanks.
HalHorn: Well, my LP handles ok, just like any other deck. When SD, NPS are out on the field, this deck is tough to beat, at least that's what I've faced so far. Solemn is an interesting idea, which brings an idea to mind, what about Trap Jammer...? Cause that's all I'd be worried about. Forget the Dust Tornados and use TJ...hmmm....I like it!!
fourthe: Interesting...but seeing that I will be swarming..not sure if Tragedy is right for this deck. I also thought of another JoA..not sure yet though...thanks.
Well, Trap Jammer's an okay card. It only works during the Battle Phase, though, meaning it usually only stops 2-3 cards (excluding situations like Cyber Jar, where it can be more useful), and leaves you and your opponent equal on overall card advantage.
However, Solemn Judgment (despite the steep cost) will stop Horus, Jinzo, Heavy Storm, BTH, Mirror Force, or any other card that has the potential for harming you. It will stop most, if not every, card they intend to play.
Once again, though, this is an excellent deck. Normal Monsters are finally getting what they deserve, between this type of deck and HotUnderdog Exodia.
Hal: Yes I know it only work during battle phase, but that's all I'd need. Most people activate traps during battle phase any way. That is my only concern as spells, i.e. Book, CS, Snatch, Vortex are useless. With paying for Skill Drain not sure I'd have the LP for Solemn...I will try it though. Thanks for your help.
