This deck may look a bit random at first, but it flows amazingly well. It just focuses on keeping the opponent's options limited while gaining advantage. Not unlike any other control. Here it is.

There it is. Please do not suggest BLS or Apprentice Magician. Any suggestions are appreciated.
3 Controllers = Overkill. BoM > Enemy. So -3 Enemy +2 BoM and +1 Newdoria. Newdoria = Aggro Control. Just great. Maybe even a Stealth Bird for Burn? IT can be higher than Breaker and Tribe and others sometimes...
Eric- BoM over Controller is something I've been considering. I'll test it both ways.
Daxplosion-what don't you enjoy in the main? I already said I don't want to use Apprentice, and adding that along with Tomatos would force me to remove the aggressive aspect of the deck. I want to keep it on the agressive side, because it works better that way.
I disagree with you on that point. DDAssailant is a decent beatstick, and holds the opponent off from attacking at times. Not to mention that I can just suicide it into one of their important monsters, ie Jinzo, VLord, Phoenix, and BLS. I think it works just fine in the maindeck.
I know you're not going to do it, but Apprentice Magician would just be pwn like wh0a in this deck.
Plus, Book of Moon makes Enemy Controller look like a n00b card in this deck. What use is Enemy Controller going to be when your Phoenix special summons itself right into a Bottomless Trap Hole?
And yes, BLS over DD Assailant, with the Apprentice Magician added in place of another DDA. More effective, but blah, I know you'll say that you want this deck to be "original" even though it's not as it is.
Yeah, I'm never going to use BLS, and there's very little chance of an Apprentice finding its way into here. This deck isn't reliant on Phoenix, it's just there because it's an easily summonable monster that maintains field presence, so protecting it isn't priority #1. Let me explain why I'm using Controllers over Books ATM.
-With three Goats, helps me to get out my three tribute mons
-Great game ender
-I enjoy taking a person's Soldier and beating them with it
Book would help me to reuse MoF, can hold off an attack a little less effectively than Controller, and then its main application, countering opposing cards. That last bit is the most tempting part of it. I'll try this.
-3 Controller
+3 Book of Moon
We'll see how that goes. I know most people consider three Books to be overkill, but if I plan on using it to counter opposing cards 90% of the time, three should be fine.
Well, this deck is a bit more cookie than my other endeavors, but I really like the way it flows. It just focuses on keeping the opponent's options limited while gaining advantage. Not unlike any other control. Here it is.

[1] Dust Tornado
There it is. A control deck on the agressive side. Please do not suggest BLS or Apprentice Magician. Any suggestions are appreciated.
I like the way this works, but I think that taking out Dust Tornado for a Windstorm of Etaqua will give you a better outcome. It works with your higher tributes since they have a somewhat lower atk power (lower than average).
My biggest fear with NoC is hitting an MoF and having to remove my own. Two Book of Moon along with two Nobleman of Crossout would work very well though...anyone see anything to drop for two Noblemen?
Magus-Etaqua isn't necessary, and I really like Dust Tornado. I've got enough protection in here as is, and Dust Tornado helps to combat the influx of Traps and Quickplays in today's meta.
