Cards like Spirit of Flames, Inferno, Silpheed, Garuda the wind spirit, Aqua Spirit and the like state you need to remove 1 Attrib-type monster in your graveyard to special summons.

Can you just remove them from your graveyard and Special summon them without anything else?
Or do you need to use a card like Soul Release and remove the cards from your graveyard to then summon them?

I know it's probably been asked sometime and somewhere. But I have spent a bit to long looking for an answer.

Is there any resources/links to official rules about this or semi reputable website with Explanations.

You remove the monster from graveyard because the effect of that card. You cant summon that type of cards if you use soul release to remove cards from graveyard, and then summon them.
